It looks alot better.

Traffic was extremley bad, I only saw the 8 and RB get cleanish laps towards the end. JB was a very quick lap, but got caught up in traffic on at least 3of his runs, but pace is there.. his first sector was 8th quickest overall then from then on traffic stuck :(

but at least RB got a clean lap :D:D

The only people not to set a time on the super soft tyres in the top ten were Lewis, massa and kimi.

They will be the tyre for quali but they are meant to go off after a lap and lose a lot of time people will not want to use these for many laps so will be very interesting to see what people do.

This is NEVER Massa's seat.... looks NOTHING like a C-F mould, more like a C3PO shell or something... ;)

HAMILTON IS IN THE BARRIERS AT STE DEVOTE!!! It's a big one for the McLaren driver.

He came into the corner a tad too fast and understeered through the corner and was unable to straighten himself out soon enough, taking what looked like about an 80 mph crash. That's his session over in all likelyhood.

Meanwhile, Alonso is having a great Friday (Thursday in this case) testing day. He seems to be a couple of tenths ahead of the rest (so far, sure).

Hamilton has had quite a lot of small errors in previous races (too hard on brakes, some curves too wide in Melbourne) but with such a wide tracks, there were no problem. This time is different, Monaco does not let you even 20 cms...

His 1st big error. From f1.com.

It seems Lewis Hamilton's Formula One honeymoon is over - temporarily at least. The McLaren star made his first significant error of the season on Thursday afternoon when he put his car into the Monte Carlo barriers.

It was just under an hour into second practice when Hamilton lost control of his MP4-22 under braking heading into the first corner, Sainte Devote. The resulting impact left the Englishman unharmed, but tore the front-left wheel and suspension from his car.

Up to that point Hamilton had been duelling for fastest time with team mate Fernando Alonso, as McLaren dominated the session. His only consolation was that he wasn't alone in his misfortune - he walked back into the pit lane with compatriot Anthony Davidson, who had gone off at the same point in his Super Aguri just minutes earlier.
