Eh? I don't see your point. I could have called him Surtees, or Prost, or even Schumi, but since his name is ALONZO that is how I referred to him.

What should I have called him? Baby? Sweetie? What do you call him? ;)

Due to the voting system in Germany, Governments are always made up of coalitions of different parties. At the last election, an almost unprecidented result saw the CDU/CSU (rough equivilant of the Conservatives) go into Government with the SPD (rough equivilant of Labour)

Hmmm as you might (not) have seen, i made the 's' bold in my original post (Alonso, but ok, not a big deal.

Determined to prove JB's race wasnt 'that' bad I have been looking around...

JB had a total pit stop time of 93seconds, and RB of 55 seconds

93-55 = 38...

RB's race time was 1hour, 32mins and 07seconds...

JB's race time was 1 hour 32mins and 45seconds...

Now, if you add JB's extra pit time, ie, 38seconds onto RB's race time, you get something quite amazing...

Equally the same time... ;-)

And lets not forget, JB had to drive round the whole lap without a front wing ;-)

In the first stint, they are pretty much even given the fuel levels, second stint where JB pitted for the nose RB was the quicker one, then in the final stint JB's pace was amazingly consistant and quick...

his average laptime in his final stint was 1.24.6 using his times to the nearest tenth, he had a bad lap too@ 1.27.7

RB's last 14laps were int the average of 1.25.6, a whole second down.

I chose his last 14laps because JB's last stint was 15laps, but I never counted eithers last one... So both were worked out using the last 14laps bar the very last one, in which JB set his fasest I beleive ??

One thing i have noticed, and this has been over a long period of time.

JB NEVER attacks the pitlane limit on entry... he is always too calm on entry and it costs him deer. He has lost a number of posistions due to it...

Anyway, thats satisfied me :p Looking forward to Monaco now, apparently rain could hit :D

Which was his own fault... There are plenty of times where you could say the same thing about any driver but it's where they finish that counts.

I didnt say it was own fault what has your post go to do with what I said :s, if you've read through you will know what I think about it.

My point was that people just look at results and say things which arent true...

And when points are the offereing, yes posistion counts, but in this case not...

Lol not to convince myself... I knew... It just satisfied me to know I was right ;)

he has recieved alot of @#$%& recently though has he not, just go round looking in other forums. And for what? Making a mistake and loosing his FW ? Getting taken out at Bahrain... ?

Things move fast in F1, like I said earlier, people like claim things too soon,a perfect example is kimis situation he too is getting flammed, and yet after the first two races everybody loved the guy :s

I keep saying it ;), every position counts, and especially for Honda, as they don't have points yet, the fight between them and Spyker and STR is very important, as those teams neither have any points. None off them wants to be 11th in the CS, as that place gives no right to compensation for transport costs etc.

In this case it doesnt, I considered that, but Honda will get points.

its almost a certain.

Honda are happy with the new aero parts tested at Paul Ricard so maybe they've turned a corner so to speak and will rack up some points soon. Monaco would be the ideal place.

Hopefully, they said throughout the week their race pace improved which is encouraging because it is slightly all over the place atm...

RB thinks it will be France when the big progress is made though, but are they not supposed to debut a new car at Canada...
