Yes there was I remember it but I was not one of the people that said he would never be world champ from what i remember I just said it was a stupid mistake.

With massa we are still yet to see him race people, same could be said with lewis we have seen him defend but not over take.

shame JB didn't watch and learn from the Great Master Schumacher, or else he might have done a better job taking Rubens out at T1 instead of just breaking his own car and finishing very far behind his multi-race-winning teammate...

Muks, i don't know why you waste your time answering to that!

it's a shame how some people live their lives so miserable, hating a guy that's not racing anymore, someone who achieved more than they ever will, even if God gives them a 2nd life, and the best part of it all is that Michael Scumacher the one they wake up everyday thinking about, and having so much hate towards doesn't even know they are born, and doesn't give jack sh*t

About the incident in t1, i think there's no discussion, i wathced the video again on youtube and Alonso took the normal racing line, he was the one trying to push Massa off, it was like he didn't even care if Massa was on the inside so as a race incident that it was, i think hes got more to blame for, he was judged by his won actions, but of course he alwasy moans!!

there's no easy racing in F1, if you expect it, then F-1 is to tough for you!, people that complain about it too much should be watching other series cus incidents like this are alway gonna happen

Not considering his lap without the front wing, and only the pitstop times, JB should have finished about 12seconds behind Sato...

Until I know what his laptime was without the front wing its hard to say whether JB could have had the point or not.

And he probably would have lost about 10seconds overall... going round the track without the wing, and recoving from the incident...

Its good to know that once again the result doesnt reflect the pace he had throughout the race, it seemed though beaten by Rubens he wasnt the slower one again.

What do you mean there is no discussion, are you kidding?
That was a racing incident no more no less. Alonso was on the racing line initially and Massa had it coming out of the corner but they both had a right to fight for the lead. What the hell is wrong with that? The only thing that Fernando did wrong was to moan about it in the press conference but the best racing drivers are always sore losers.

Shame JB messed up his race because he would have finished the race ahead of Rubens on this occasion.

Yup, both times his fault, in Malaysia his first stint was horrid, but I guess, he pushed as hard as he could... then in Spain well he made the bad move and clipped the kurbs.

if you look at the video onboard, you'll see how much room Alonso gives to
Massa, maybe he was expecting Massa to back off, but he didn't that's why it was a racing incident

Yes, they both gave each other very little room, it was just a racing incident.
We don't get many of those at the sharp end of the grid these days.

I think it is comical this Alonzo/Massa debate is still going on. If Felipe backed off and let Alonzo through at that corner everyone here would be complaining about what a gutless driver he is. Since he held his ground and Fernando hit him some people now act as if he should have given Alonzo a free run! ;)

Felipe was defending his position. It was a racing move. If anyone is to blame it's Alonzo for thinking Massa would let him by...

I agree there. Alonso gambled on Massa backing off, but he didn't so they touched. watching it live you could tell they would touch if Alonso tried it, where was Massa supposed to go, on the grass?

Massa could have gone over the low kerb at the first turn but it looked like he braked too late to do that. Basically it was robust defending by Massa who did well not to give Fernando the opportunity to get by.

Good from Massa, you expect everyone just back off for a 2 times world champion in his home country? Finaly some action... would be cool if something happend when he came on track, that would give the race a little bit of action..

Do you type Alonzo by purpose, or do someone really have to tell you the two times F1 World Champion's name is Alonso? ;)

And why Alonso is complaining that hard i really don't know, can drivers nowadays not accept there's a change they might touch eachother, and even... holy mother of god, get of the track?
