Rossi would be nothing in F-1, and he knows that...... that's why he's not making the move, and if he does, he won't finish the season

1 sec. off schumacher, are you sure?

Schumacher was not testing in the same place.....

he wasnt 1s off schumachers pace. he was about 3s off the pace. which is still very good for his first f1 drive.

not bein funny and i know im biased cos hes 1 of my greatest heros but that man wins on any bike he rides. im sure hes won of those kind of people that can do anything. 1 or 3 seconds what does it matter its still waay closer than most people get in their 1st go!!

i say if he qualifys for F1 by showing hes worthy of it in cars first, good luck to him, if he walks straight into F1, then i dont think it will be the same, for me anyway

I reckon that different forms of motorsport (such as rallying, bikes, single seaters) are all so specialised that it would be exceptionally difficult to switch from one to the other and achieve success. As good as Rossi, Marcus Gronholm, and Michael Schumacher are, I think they would really struggle to do well in the other's position.

It would be great to see Rossi in a F1 car as a genuine driver, but some how i doubt it. But then again he would not be the first Bike champ to enter F1 or the 1st to be champ in both either.
