This should make a pretty strong case, as much as I don't like Pelé I really have to admire him as a player. I'm still in the search for nice Garrincha footage, as well as Leônidas da Silva, Didi, Dida (from 40s-50s not the goalie ;)), and maybe another Zico compilation.

Edit: found a link, hope it's good. I really recommend looking up him on Youtube ;-)

Garrincha (Pinball Wizard plays :D)

i think it is a good idea to talk about the players that you watch (i remember 1977 since today days) and i have to said Maradona. Other great players Platini and Gullit, this days i cant found (maybe Ronaldinho but i am not shure) a player at that level.

LT10 the artist formally known as Lee Trundle ;)
(best lower league player anyway :) )

Best current player in the world I would say is Henry, Ronaldinho is incredibly talented but if I could have one of them in my side it would be Henry everytime.

Ronaldo's had an incredible first half of the season and he's a great player, but only if he does the same for the next 5 years will I consider him alongside Henry, not before :)

Well I wasnt seriously saying Trundle was world class ;)
Most entertaining footballer i've watched though, if you watch that video you'll notice something like the first 8 clips are all from the same match (against Huddersfield) Trundle wound them up so much they ended up with 9 men lol.
btw. if you watch that vid, make sure you see it to the end, that goal in the Millenium was most definately world class.

It's quite nice, I'm glad he managed to keep it low and accurate, it's an easy shot to put it over or have it more towards the goalie :)

Steve McManaman was my favourite player when I was younger, I wanted to have his name on the back of my replica shirt but my mum said it would cost too much so I went with 'Rush' :P

John Charles Juventus and Wales legend. Nearly lead us to world cup glory in 1958. Never Cautioned in his career. Even in 2002 at the Wales Italy qualifier which Wales dominated and won he was given a standing Ovation from both sets of fans. would Beckham get taht in forty years?
