McManaman is not crap, sod you gui. He was despirited at real madrid, but even a spanish person I knew said he was consistently good when he played for them. He won them the champions league final.

His best days were for liverpool though, and he should have definately been in the england team instead of the media's favourite beckham. So much more talented.

It was the same with robbie fowler - they both never got the recognition - especially internationally - that they deserved :(

To be honest I see nothing special there, Daniel. You could say he lost his ways as soon as he joined Real. He never brought anything to the team, just filled space. And He didn't win them a UEFA final. Raul did with a nice goal with great passes from Sávio.

I agree, for me, Mcmanaman was a poor mans Ryan Giggs.

He was a dangerous player, but he didnt have that missing ingredient that a great player imo

Not really, I see nothing special on getting a shot without people in front or having to go by someone :p. I remember in Real him giving many balls away, losing it while attempting to dribble - and he usually got owned by the ball -, or receiving the ball and not doing anything productive with it. Maybe he'd stop a counter attack or give a useless pass

You obviously haven't even watched either of those videos - you don't know what you're talking about.

So he didn't go by anyone or shoot with people infront of him? :S You need your eyes checked, that made up 90% of the videos.

Romario is a crap fatty bastard and made up most of those goals anyway, and a lot are from youth levels and crappy charity event things which shouldn't be counted.

My grandad always said that Duncan Edwards was the best player he ever saw, and that had he not died he would have been England captain instead of Moore; although how much of his reputation is based on his untimely death I don't know.

José Luis Chilavert is the best player ever. OK, he was a @#$%& keeper, but that's irrelevant. ;)
