As it is, I watched a documentary on this case years ago, and what jumped out at me was how hard it is to get the truth about someone like Lance exposed, especially when you’re having to fight against an overpowering false reputation they’ve built up. It was brilliant to see how common sense eventually prevailed and he was shut down.
Lately - and this is actually what initially drew me here to post about it - Betsy Andreu, who fought so brilliantly to help expose Armstrong’s fraud, has continued to fight to clean up athletics. Lately she’s been putting pressure on Paula Radcliffe to come clean, with interesting results. I think Betsy is one of the most inspirational and brilliant people I’ve ever come across.
