GP3 2000 MOD "UNIVERSE": F1 1985/1996-2015 & 500+ tracks

hi,

normally the best way to get your gcard recognized is to:

1. start game ONE TIME with gp3_2000.exe from gamedir (not use GpxPatch!)
2. let it do the grafic-calibration (don´t worry when game crashes)
3. if game not crashed just exit it
4. from now on run MOD with "Season selector" (GpxPatch), everything should be fine now

if that doesn´t solve your probs:
-look for "gconfig.txt" in your gamedir and post here..

Hello. This mod is fantastic but I have a problem. When I select a season example : 2013. It load everything except the menu art is still the default GP3 one. Also the game runs very slow. I did everything in the how to but it is still very very slow...

maybe your HW-specs are the reason why all is slow. about your menuart prob: maybe the art.bin´s are not in C:\Gamez\Grand Prix UNIVERSE\gpxpdata\bat\*year\.. ?

Windows 7
2.5GB of RAM

GPx Patch Version is 4.23

again, about your menuart prob: maybe the art.bin´s are not in C:\Gamez\Grand Prix UNIVERSE\gpxpdata\bat\*year\.. ?

@speed probs: HW seems ok
->checkout "RCR Distances" inside GPxPatch and set to: 3840

The files are there. The only problem is that the gp3 selector doesn't copy it. It says access denied

so it´s a question of user-rights. the selector uses "cmd.exe". find a way to give it admin-rights.
on your win7 it´s located in: "C:\Windows\System32\cmd.exe"

I can't the box is greyed out, and if I right click and select run as admin it says it couldn't find the correct directory

To set admin privileges for Windows executables, you need to create a shortcut and use Shortcut tab→Advanced (the command-prompt item in the Start menu is already a shortcut):

Will this fantastic mod be updated to the 2014 season ?

..I´m always thinking of doing it. But not like in the last 2 years at the beginning of the season - better for me is summer with more sparetime. My big dream is to make the complete F1-History, but...
