Installation

There are two versions of the 2014 Mod, a CSM version and the Laptop Edition.

- For the CSM mod, you will need ZaZ Tools (which includes CSM). In CSM, select File - Install Carset/Update and select the .CUH file you downloaded.

- The Laptop Edition is a lower res, stand-alone, full version of GP4, suitable for laptops and lower spec PCs. It is not a CSM mod. Just extract the archive and play.

Features

No config files to edit. At all! - The 2014 Mod by GP4 Central requires ZERO manual editing of any config files. It just works!

No white cars - This common graphical bug has been 100% eliminated from the GP4 Central Mods. All car textures will always work. Guaranteed no white cars, ever!

3D tyres with intermediate and wet compounds - Without having to edit f1graphics.cfg (CSM mod only).

Screen resolution chooser - Play GP4 in your monitor's native resolution just by picking your screen res in the CSM menu (CSM mod only).

And not forgetting:

2014 performance and physics, and V6 Turbo torques

The best cars / helmets / tyres and other graphical updates by the best modders in sim racing.

Just a note to those trying the new mods - the lower revving engine sounds take some getting used to, but stick with it. You get used to it pretty quickly. There will also be an addon sound pack made available soon.

Also, if you wish to participate in Season 2 of the GP4CC, please download the Laptop Edition of the mod. You have 1 week to shakedown your new car before we head to Barcelona for the first test.

downloaded both files, but the file does not appear CSM file, and what appears: gp4 2014 mod v1.0 by central.cuh.torrent, this format can not install the csm. Thank for information.

They are torrent files not the actual mod

It is like a marker to download the actual file from multiple spots/users using a Torrent program.
If you dont have one try Tixati

I downloaded both. Ill install the laptop version first and have a go at it.

Well I did promise to reveal the tracks for the GP4CC Season 2. However I'm only going to give you a hint at each one

Most of Season 2 will follow the real F1 2014 season, so that should give away most of the venues. The exceptions are:

Event 1 (USA Hotlap #1) is an old F1 venue, but no longer in use.

Event 5 (Australia Hotlap #4) is not an F1 venue.
