@ Ryan - With regards to your rather striking comments with regards to the Team Shadow Subaru livery on the gpgsl website, may i remind you the point of advertising is to get your brand noticed. I'm pretty sure everyone will notice that livery in any of the screens of gpgsl GPs ;)

and for the record, pink has been ever-present on the TSS livery

Vegemite Paint wrecks TN Racing Debut

Despite the bold and brave efforts of both Keeley Grant and Jorge Caranti this weekend, the TN Racing duo were subjected to an absolute nightmare of a last stint in the closing stages of the race - and we have discovered the culprit!

Caranti was running well in the midfield of the pack, staggering considering the capped performance levels for the new entry Bugatti V12. Grant also held her nerve, but struggled against slightly less aerodynamic runners in front, commonly known as the Trulli-Train. No names have been mentioned, but the word in the pitlane shows that the feeling is spread evenly on the slugs of the series.

Now, speaking of spreading things easily, it leads us directly into some astounding data taken from post race studies of both True North cars - and very alarming news it is!

Of course, the Aussies do indeed love a party. They throw mega BBQs and low and behold, Gui included, a few streakers along the way. Throw in a barrel of XXXX and a crate or two of Fosters, you get yourself a superchilled afternoon of fun loving pleasure.

When someone finds that the sausages are all out, the kegs are dry and all thats left is a drunken Mika Halpinen caressing a much tendered and out of it Chet, Guis red short shorts, half a loaf of bread and some vegemite, things are going to turn either a) very erotic, or b) very erotic and borderline disturbing/stroke/genius.

It seems that sometime between 2am and 8am Sunday raceday, the GPGSL lockup enclosure was drunkenly manhandled, and access to the cars was breached.

The TN cars appeared to have soiled themsleves overnight. You need to read that twice.

When the TN pitcrew woke to retrieve their machines, the shiny carbonite grey and sleek yellows were transformed into dark brown sludge, smeared over every crevice of the bodywork.

As many of you know, even Herbie didn't get THAT excited driving the thrills and spills of Monte Carlo, and this was merely Albert Park.

It turns out that the TN machines weren't artificially intelligent as first assumed, and that the dirty protest was not that of the cars - it was a Vegemite extravaganza.

Police are currently trying to trace two individuals thought to be responsible. Constable Muks C has issued the following notice: 'Male A is stirkingly similar to a young Juan Pablo Montoya wearing a white button Tshirt with the letters LOL and I LOVE JENSON across the breast; the other, Male B, was clearly ginger and sporting what looked like a white PVC nurses uniform. They were seen playing leap frog over the pit barrier up until 2:15am, before being lost on CCTV walking towards Parc Ferme giving piggybacks'.

Research has been conducted and the smearing not only gave the cars a dull and sultry gothic look on Sunday, but also reportedly cost a drop of around four tenths of a second a lap in aero efficiency, which corellates to the speedy, yet struggled pace of Caranti and Grant on raceday.

In other news, perhaps the cherry on the cake, quite literally, was the Phoenix car. Maybe one of the breachers assumed that hed stumbled across an enourmous orange and white carrot cream cake, and felt the urge not to resist adding sprinkles and a giant red glacier to the nosecone.

Expect Papprazzi photos of the race weekend to appear in Seat Magazine later this week.

End of statement

The new TN Productions magazine is out on sale NOW!

Jenson drives it like he owns it; Lewis drives it like he stole it

Awesome race by me =D If i do say so myself.
I think i've answered the critics who thought i was slacking off over the testing period.
Hope i can do even better in the next race.

Just a question? Thats not my helmet that i was using... where has my helmet gone? Nick?

yes, i know, so why not have it as 'Phoenix Renault' in the perf files then, like it would be if it was an f1 team.

GPGSLRS analysis: WHAT'S WRONG WITH THIS PICTURE?

edit, correction; disregard messagge in italics:Team Shadow participated in the Melbourne race with the wrong numbers on the cars, that they were on the entry list. Not just a case of swapped helmet or anything like that. When numbers (on the perf file) were confirmed, Ed Greenhalgh was given #7, John Warrington #8. But as you can see from the screenshot(s), John Warrington has # 7 on the car, Greenhalgh #8, yet the race was run as Greenhlagh#7 and Warrington #8, or in other words, Team Shadow failed to notify the Governing Body of Super League, that they have changed their numbers from the entry list (and thus position on the perfomance file).

Unless they paint the correct numbers till Monaco, they are now swapping place on perf file, thus:
First Driver=7,John Warrington,16050,585,16075,590
Second Driver=8,Ed Greenhalgh,16048,590,16080,588

GPGSLRS will decide if there will be any penalty.

-----------------------------------------------------------------
EDIT: GPGSLRS CORRECTION/UPDATE
Actually the numbers painted on the cars of Team Shadow were correct (as they have their name on it too), however (the lods)they are swapped so that Warrington is 1st driver position with No.8, and Greenhalgh with #7 as no.2.
The conclusion was my mistake, made from the limited info I had, apologies.
So results stand, also no penalty whatsoever. I never said that it would be a penalty anyway, just didnt rule it out by default.
Lods are to be renamed and tex helmet swapped.

Apparently so, but is that a problem in the tex file (order of cars)?
Perf file had it correct, both cars have the right numbers, but they are in the wrong order.

I don't care if you disqualify them, we still won't get a point. Unless there is a reason to disqualify another team...
