Put another way, all the different tracks have slightly different CC power and CC grip values right.....so is it important I don't change these to get the best experience in terms of ai difficulty or do I need to change them because the master grip is now reduced and the original magic data would have been written around having this higher master grip?

The master grip only affects you, not the AI. So you'd simply keep the performance file the same and adjust the master grip to match your own skill. I suggest you follow the "belini gp4 team career info" link in the Belini documentation, and read the "player calibration" section.

Okay great! I'll try that because player calibration is what I'm struggling with. The master grip change works great though.

Could you direct me to that link....I'm not near my computer for a while?

Thanks!

Does anyone else calibrate difficulty for every race they do?

great to know. One question: will be possible doing the same for the failure point? Just to be curious.

Failure probabilities? Yes, those will be per car as well.

Will old performance files be compatible with the new version or do they all have to be updated?

Old performance files will be fully compatible. For the car power team dependent option there will be an "Old behavior" setting, and all the per car settings will be in new sections. Without the new sections the team values from the existing sections will be read. The only downside is that you can't edit the new sections with Team Editor until Lo2k supports it.

At this point i hope that Prblanco will made a new performance calculator for all those new features. :-)
The failure point for car will sure raise up the realism as well the others new options.

I took the liberty of creating a proposal :) But the formatting screwed up. So just for reference, it is supposed to look like this:

[PerfManager]
Enable		=1
Path		=gpxpdata\performance.txt

[TyreManager]
Enable		=1
Path		=gpxpdata\tyres.txt
Path01		=gpxpdata\tyres_supersoft_medium.txt
Path02		=gpxpdata\tyres_soft_medium.txt
Path03		=gpxpdata\tyres_medium_hard.txt
PatchTextures	=0

Fantastic news (Y). In turns of reality this is a killer feature. No Sim on market has such a feature, GP4 still rules.

I'll try to ask this here as we don't have any update on gp4tweaker tool,will it be possible to make cars at random stages in practices and race flashing their rear lights just to simulate the battery recharging?thanks

Greetings

Having used Belini's grip patch, there is something I have noticed...

When the top 'patch grip/bhp' function is used, the cc grip values in the magic data effect the player & ai. Without this patch used the cc grip in magic data doesn't effect the player. Player master grip still has an effect under both scenarios however.
