I know a long time ago a full 1980 mod was done with an installer. That was in the early 2000’s. I can’t remember who did but I know I used to have it. But after a purge of old cd’s I think I may have lost it. Perhaps it was from GP4italia but I’m not 100%positive on that. GP4 Italian used to make executable installer mega packs for specific seasons, many moons ago. I still have a2004 megaby saturdaynight - Grand Prix 4
Your welcome! I'm glad I could bring some enjoyment to this old sim!by saturdaynight - Other Games
Here is a link to some basic instructions for configuring Magic Dosbox to run GP2 in android. I hope this finds itself useful. I added a few more virtual buttons simplify controls. The Esc key in particular was necessary as Magic Dosbox highjacks that key for it's own purposes.by saturdaynight - Other Games
Definitely. I was planning on doing a youtube video on how I configured it.by saturdaynight - Other Games

Hello everyone! I've been playing GP4 with the original install, for some time. I used to run with mods years ago, Last one being Alex's 2004 mod, and my own WSRC 2005 and 2006 cars mod but I wanted to get recomendations for the best experience of modern F1 racing on this old sim.by saturdaynight - Grand Prix 4
Thank you! It's great to be back!by saturdaynight - Grand Prix 3
Good day to you all. I am posting up some images of the GrandPrix Masters carset, that I made, about 13 years ago. My old site has been down for a very long time so I created a new one and am slowly getting files uploaded. Below are picutres of the cars with generic liveries. the carset also includes liveries with the names of the drivers. GP_Masters_beta_v1_1.zip Enjoy!by saturdaynight - Grand Prix 3
Lauda had been a huge Part of F1 even in retirement. He will be missed. R.I.P. Niki Lauda.by saturdaynight - F1
...I used to run GP4 religiously, back In the day, and then my new job took that time away from me. For any who can remember, I ran the WSRC, (World Sim Racing Championship) back in 2005-2006. In 2007, life took a turn and I had to bow out. I'm looking to get back into it, albeit, just for kicks. I recently dusted off my copy of GP4 and started playing around. I'm familiar with aby saturdaynight - Grand Prix 4
This looks great! I've been out of action for quite a few years and looking to dust of my copy of Grand Prix 4. This mod will get me what I've been looking for. Cudos!by saturdaynight - Grand Prix 4
Belini, wow! Great stuff! I guess I've been one of those bloakes who didn't realise you could do so much with GP3! Great job!by saturdaynight - Grand Prix 3
Unless that card is an absolute PITA, it shouldn't be having problems running GP3! The graphic requirements for GP3 are less then 16MB of video memory. Perhaps that G/card is bad. It should run fine under XP without any issues. No reason to install Windows 98. I run GP3 fine on my Toshiba Laptop with Windows XP Pro, 1ghz PIII CPU, GForce 2 16MB video chipset and 512MB RAM. Fincent! Try it now. I've updated the link to be a zip rather then a rar file!by saturdaynight - Grand Prix 3
Diax F1, Thanks, I'll try that! For the time being, the artwork has been omitted from the beta version since it wasn't working. When I have a chance to update the artwork, I'll let everyone know! Fincent, I'll just upload it as a zip instead of a rar file to fix this little issue.by saturdaynight - Grand Prix 3
Thanks! Well, there are still some graphics missing from all the cars. Most of the cars don't have anything on the front winglets. I haven't made a South American Airways logo yet and finding one to work from hasn't been easy. On the back of the GMF car I can't make out what is on the rear wing. There are very few images of that car to work from. The Goldpfiel car has just aboby saturdaynight - Grand Prix 3
Thanks! As for the slics, it was fairly simple! I just took away the lines in the GP3 original treads and Edited the AVON tyre logo to them.by saturdaynight - Grand Prix 3
OK, so here is the beta carset. This carset includes the following Car liveries with and without names on the engine cowel helmets Performances as of Kyalami 2005 Basic cockpits Avon Tyre textures Click here to download. Enjoy!by saturdaynight - Grand Prix 3
Alright, so here's what I've accomplished to date! Enjoy the screenshots!by saturdaynight - Grand Prix 3
I did some more work over the holidays. I'm still a bit lazy with the screen shots but the cars are just about as complete as I can get them with the references I was able to find. I'll probably be releasing a Beta carset version sometime very soon, since I have to put some focus into other projects that need my attention! I'll keep everyone posted!by saturdaynight - Grand Prix 3
The Cars are looking better already thanks to Briere, pointing out the Bojan template! No screenies yet but I'll get them posted as soon as I have time!by saturdaynight - Grand Prix 3
Thanks! :D I didn't se that template in the downloads section!by saturdaynight - Grand Prix 3
So a lot of work was done this weekend to the carset. I've alos answered my own question. i've started work on the Team art and performances. I'm jsut about done with the helemts and I'm still working on the cars themeselves. All cars have their basic layouts comleted. Now it's donw to the little graphical details. As for the names on the sides of the engine cowels,by saturdaynight - Grand Prix 3
Livery updates mansell's livery hasn't changed yet so here are the one that have changes to them. Only a couple more car liveries to go! Then I'll focus on the details of each livery! One thing that I'm going to have to do and because of the way GP3 displays driver names, I will be placing two driver names on each car. One name on one side andby saturdaynight - Grand Prix 3
I just found a huge resource with many images of the cars! This will surely be very helpfull. Getty Imagesby saturdaynight - Grand Prix 3
Well, because I live in the US, we don't get the televised races! Only race highlghts via ESPN! I'm constructing this carset using as much data that I can collect from the GP Masters website and any other source I can find. GP Masters has a few videos that I'm using to help me complete the carset. The Silverstone testing is awsome and the shakedown video from Mansell and Arnoux heby saturdaynight - Grand Prix 3
