Grand Prix 4 I understand thanks for your time on this SDI and you actually gave me a clue of what to do to help the transition of the D9 command.
I quickly built a faded transparent shadow texture and added that to the bridge shadow texture. It looks not bad and I will give it some more effort when I have some more time. I still think the D9 command is too long to be used under a bridge. It would be good fo

Grand Prix 4 The E0 Command is interesting to me because that's probably what I'm looking for when I talk about the fade. Is it possible E0 is switching the textures for the transition than?
by

-
Grand Prix 4 Yes you're quite correct SDI. I must've had 2 D9 commands on that test and of course one of them had to be -1 sectors. Thank you again for the discovery and the information regarding -1 sectors with the D9 command. I can certainly send you the track. Allow me some time to put a package together.
Do you think at this stage it will be possible to have some rain under the bridge instead

Grand Prix 4 I started using the D9 Command immediately after the release of GP4 Builder 1.912 XE. Thank you very much for making it available.
One scenario where I have applied it is under a walkway bridge. I used only 1 sector. The preceding and previous sectors have a nice sector fade transition.
So I wondered if we could use the D9 command for 0 sectors under the bridge to give only 2 sector fade tr

Quotethe flagpoles are missing???
It was a simple mistake on my part that I forgot after assembling these parts together to a gp4 file. Forgetting to remove the flags themselves from the other parts and renaming them Misctso Flag_australia01 for the ramf1 Australian flag animation and misctso flag_atx_flag_eng_1 for the super cheap auto animation. I didn't realize that the objects could

Grand Prix 4 Thanks guys. Yeah. He went into the esses a little hot. The only thing that saved him is he backed out of it a 10th of a second earlier
I believe the shadows have everything to do with the settings in f1graphics.cfg file. Anyway it's not to do with the track itself so don't be overly concerned about that. What I am disturbed about is that in a quick lap race, the animated flags are no

Grand Prix 4 Quote Lo2k About help:In practice
To clearly see .gp4 faces behaviours, you can use the untextured view mode (F2 key shortcut). In this mode, faces will receive usual .col colors (light gray for hard surfaces, dark gray for tarmac, yellow for gravels and green for grass)
Prblanco, I believe that command has changed my friend.
Edit: I apologize for responding to quickly. I'm just no

Grand Prix 4 Yes, some tracks are painted with the sidelines inside the kurbs or partly.
Lo2k has spent some time making behaviors for textures changeable. In the Parts-surface properties hit the Change button. You probably saw that before...
For me I don't want the overlay (from the .bin file) covering the sideline

Grand Prix 4 A very nice present indeed. I have enjoyed using your GP4 Builder for 4 years now. A very clean platform you have given us. I appreciate your work in the development of this tool and I thank you immensely.
I wish you all the best for the new year, L02k

Grand Prix 4 I cannot see exactly how the car is assembled however in the Builder try removing the mirrors or any part that you do not want flipped to their own new scene.
Then invert coordinates on the parts we need on the other side of the car, dashboard, steering wheel, driver's seat and so on.
Finally reassemble the mirrors and stuff back into their original scene.
Hope this helps otherwise

Grand Prix 4 TomMK, I have tweaked this manually previously it's a bit of work. To get the verge exactly level to the track is going to take some trial and error until you have the exact number that is relative to the bank height.
Laurent, I wonder if tilting the wall would be easier to do or even an advantage for future editable fields.

Grand Prix 4 Truly works of art the latest creations. I don't often download your work; however, I always had an admiration for it. It was also noticed how kind you are to the GP4 community. Car modeling has always been something of an interest to me over the years. You do beautiful work, Kev. Thank you for all of your efforts over the years and for sharing your work. Grand Prix 4 @Atticus Thank you but in the other topic I was actually talking about building Winton motor raceway. I can understand the mistake because of my wording

i probably know the answer to this one but going to ask it. with the bathurst track are you doing an up to date version or a another year (eg 90's early 00's with less barriers around the circuit)?
The Bathurst version I'm working on is based on 2009. It will not be difficult to update to 2013, just changing some textures and advertising.

Winton motor raceway is a definite possibility from me. My part must be done however after Bathurst is released. I have had a few delays recently with Bathurst, be assured I am working on it constantly.

Grand Prix 4 Your fictional looks good. You are quite correct. looking for reference is about 80% of the effort. Sometimes I do it when I'm bored or sometimes not quite awake yet. It would be easier still if some engineers or team managers contacted you with what they need and have you lay-up the garage in 3d so they can build it based on your 3d model . You obviously have the capability.

Grand Prix 4 Amazing resolution possible. I may just take you up on the offer. I do wonder about the planet being global in this situation. One of the advantages of taking overhead shots at 300m of altitude is that we are able to line up each scene in a flat plane. So I wonder about the distortion at 3km of altitude.

Grand Prix 4 @ramf1v
Since the building of Oran Park, I have been using Google Earth, capturing multiple images of 1920 x 1080 at 300m of altitude and assembling them in layers manually. It is a rather time consuming process; however, the end result is pretty good. The process takes longer than building the actual layout for the .dat. I did initially try automation in my CS5; however, even removing the
