Just wondering if anyone would be able to create some Australian tracks. Firstly, which tracks have already been created for GP4, and which tracks are W.I.P's?

These are the tracks I would like to see for GP4:
QLD Raceway
Sandown Raceway
Surfer's Paradise 2010 Layout (Used for Gold Coast 600)
Symmonds Plains
Townsville Street Circuit
Barbagallo Raceway (With new pitlane)
Canberra Street Circuit
Winton Raceway
Hidden Valley Raceway

Thanks. I'll be sure to try it out.

Wish someone would create V8 Supercar shapes for GP4. Touring cars, trucks, and quite a few other types of cars have been made. So it should be possible to create V8 Supercar shapes.

Why not have a go yourself Greg? There is a DTM mod at GP4DB, maybe you could look at the car shapes to get an idea :)

5 x WCC - S5, S6, S7, S8, S10 | 4 x WDC - S5 Nick van der Voort ; S6, S7, S8 Ed Greenhalgh | 2 x WTC - S6 Stuart Ingers; S8 Andrei Sevastian

Meteoro mentioned something about a V8 Touribg Car mod a few months back. He even showed some screens if I remember rightly.

Races: 163 - Wins: 23 - Pole Positions: 24 - Fastest Laps: 22
Season 9: Constructors' Champions

Speaking of, has anyone seen or heard from Meteoro in a while? I sent him a PM a week or two ago and haven't had a response...

I've got my 'adaptation' of his BMW M3 mod to 2011 V8 Supercars liveries close enough to being done to share with people and I was hoping to get his ok to do so. It is a long way from perfect, but until a shaping wizz is able to kindly knock us out a V8, I figure this will be the closest we could get.

As for tracks, Auscain is working on Bathurst (ooooooooooooooooooooohhhhhhhhhhhh yyyyyeeeeeeaaaahhhhhhh!) and Eastern Creek (slightly less ooooooooooooooooooooohhhhhhhhhhhh yyyyyeeeeeeaaaahhhhhhh but still very enthusiastically waiting patiently for it to be complete)

@Gareth Nicely done, lots of patience in that work.

Winton motor raceway is a definite possibility from me. My part must be done however after Bathurst is released. I have had a few delays recently with Bathurst, be assured I am working on it constantly.
The circuit has changed substantially from what I knew nevertheless I should be able to crank out the circuit no trouble. As always the major time consuming effort in this is creating the textures and building objects.
I can bring the circuit alive in 3 to 4 weeks with very little tweaking needed after that time. If anybody is interested in modeling some objects and creating textures, they really should get started on them.

i probably know the answer to this one but going to ask it. with the bathurst track are you doing an up to date version or a another year (eg 90's early 00's with less barriers around the circuit)?

The Bathurst version I'm working on is based on 2009. It will not be difficult to update to 2013, just changing some textures and advertising.
Based on your Torana signature that I have always admired, you would prefer something around 1980? This would be a little difficult to do as there's not many photos from the 80s unless you have a bunch of good quality photos that you can make available.

The CSM Aus V8 Supercar mod is now a W.I.P with liveries by gareth, sounds by Briere and shapes by Isaint on the way. Mod compilation by gareth. Expected release should be before Christmas. Many thanks to Briere and Isaint for agreeing to help us out on this project, especially to gareth for getting it off the ground. More news will be added when we have some. :-)

Great news indeed. I take the shapes will be a Ford Falcon FG V8 and Holden Commodore VE V8?
