Gotcha. LOL. I love Evanescence too, although I've not heard much of their material apart from the self-titled album. Good shout on Lacuna Coil. I've seen them play once, and partly because I was the photographer at the gig venue, I got to meet Cristina Scabbia afterwards. Was a good night!by EC83 - Off-Topic
Slightly OT, but Rubens made my day today. Yesterday he posted a pic on Instagram of him winning at Hockenheim for the anniversary and I commented on it, and today he responded thanking me! Not many things make my day straight off, but that did. Legend!by EC83 - F1
LOL Muks, I'm not meaning to come across as creepy, but just last night I was thinking it's been ages since you'd been active on here. Less than 24 hours later you've posted again. That's the 2nd time in less than 6 months that that's happened. LOL. Welcome back again! Rival Sons look really good. I'll need to hit them up on Spotify/Last FM and have a thorouby EC83 - Off-Topic
Sky are showing the re-run of the 2000 German GP again tonight. Good timing, as that race took place 15 years ago today! If that's pure coincidence, it's an awesome one. Never get tired of watching this race. Happy days!by EC83 - F1
The Classic F1 on Sky earlier was the 2010 Australian GP. I'd actually thought of this thread earlier on today(yesterday now), and that race exactly coincided with it IIRC, so a bump probably became inevitable at that point. :P Had another good listen to Legard in the coverage of that race tonight(in which there was no lap counter on the screen BTW... Amateur) and still don't get hoby EC83 - F1
Haha, cheers. I'm pushing hard to make it look more respectable in lots of ways. I like how in various ways(Total plays, artist plays, total artists, loved tracks etc) you can actually express your taste in music pretty nicely. My targets I set myself for July were over 1000 loved tracks, over 1000 artists listened to, one artist(Muse!) played over 2000 times, two artists with over 1000 plaby EC83 - Off-Topic
Damn, interest in Muse really seems to have declined now. :-/ ( Not aimed at Gav, since like you say, you weren't a huge fan before. :P ) It's an interesting point about the maturity thing. I too feel like acting like a kid most of the time on here, and it's not a reflection on actual maturity as a person, but borne out of a desire for light-heartedness and fun(And a tiny bit ofby EC83 - Off-Topic
Yeah, this thread is kind of a time capsule, ha. I remember posting on the first page of it in the original discussion too. My posts back then make me cringe, partly because my posting style has matured since then(when I want it to... LOL) and partly because I was in a bad place back in those times. I think it was a great bit of timing that Mortal started this thread just as they were about to reby EC83 - Off-Topic
Uprising has just become the first track to get its 100th play on my page. Get in! :P That means getting on for 100 recent views of the video. I love it, think it's very well put together. Those teddy bears are creepy as @#$%& though. Love the scene where Matt smashes the shop window with his guitar and takes the TVs out. :Pby EC83 - Off-Topic
As of this moment, 27971. Currently listening, though, so that'll be old info pretty quickly. :P I signed up on it back in September 2011, and occasionally listened to the odd track or two till Oct 2012, then kinda forgot about it till April this year, when I managed to remember my password and got back in. I only had 440 plays at that point, so I decided it needed to look more respectabby EC83 - Off-Topic
Muse are the first artist to get more than 2000 plays on my Last FM page. (2041 plays so far to be exact, but I'll be adding more to that tonight.) Drones is a pretty good album by the way, and I think Muse deserve kudos for continuing to experiment with different sounds this far into their career, which is a great sign. My most recent favourite Muse track is actually off a previous alby EC83 - Off-Topic
F1 honoured Jules on the track today, I think. Best race of the season.by EC83 - F1
Woohoo Seb!!! Brilliant, brilliant win!! Grande Seb!! Kvyat P2, Verstappen P4, Fernando P5!! Awesome Grand Prix!by EC83 - F1
OMG Rosberg/Ricciardo! What a mental race.by EC83 - F1
Fernando P6, and both Maccas in the points! Pretty impressive performance there, on the fly.by EC83 - F1
Great race at the front now! Anyone out of the top 3 could still win. And what a drive by Ricciardo!by EC83 - F1
Shame for Kimi there. And Lewis's race is turning into a comedy of errors now. Just emphasises how Lewis's win at Silverstone was down to sheer luck, not driver skill. (And I second the opinion of SchueyFan in that thread BTW, and denounce the behaviour of a certain Hamilton fanboy who trolled him just for telling it like it was. That was pathetic.)by EC83 - F1
Fascinating development now with the SC. Race transformed again! Mercedes are right back in it, especially with Kimi's car issue - which the SC might also help, as it might help him preserve the car. And what's up with these front wings here this weekend? They look like they're made out of cardboard. That was one scary moment for Hulkenberg. Good call, by the way, taking tby EC83 - F1
LOL moment from Perez and Maldonado there.by EC83 - F1
What a start from Seb!! That was insane! (And from Kimi too) And what a first lap for Lewis. We've got a hell of a race going on now!by EC83 - F1
So, just minutes now till the start. Martin Brundle's grid walk underway right now. Forgive the lack of usual track map, past race stats and other goodness, but I've only just woken up, and would've been here another half hour doing that. More important to get a thread started before the start of the race IMO. Very touching minute silence for Jules just now.by EC83 - F1

Saw the news on Twitter just a few minutes ago. I can't really find the words to describe how bad this feels... I just can't. Jules had become one of my favourite drivers, the way his talent shone through in an uncompetetive car - I was sure he had a brilliant future as a top F1 driver. I had a bad feeling about that Japanese GP. I don't know... Whether it was the weather forby EC83 - F1
It's certainly great to see the sparks back. They looked better still, IMO, when they were spewing from the backs of cars in massive torrents(See Spa 1992) rather than the steady spitting that seems to go on this year, but that's just an observation. They've looked spectacular this year! And yeah, Singapore will be fun. Along with the noticeably better sound of the cars(especiallyby EC83 - F1
gav Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > Anyway... sparks or Britney's hair? I guess you could argue it was both, since he obviously got some of his spark back this weekend, and they must've been metaphorically flying from his head during the race... *Tumbleweed* Anyways, stunning photo.by EC83 - F1
Gorgonzola tyres FTW. (Actually, brie ones are best aren't they?)by EC83 - F1
I can see Volkswagen dominating this season, that car has some really scary pace. Jason Plato would surely be leading the Championship already if he'd just been luckier at Brands Hatch. As it was, yesterday was a much more accurate representation of what they're capable of. Plato FTW this year, I hope!by EC83 - Other Motorsports
No shortage of entertainment from Maldonado so far... Wow! And what a change in Nico!by EC83 - F1
That's an interesting comparison with Hill, because I've noticed this year(and the back end of last year to an extent), the Sky team member who has consistently been the most negative about Nico has been Damon himself. He hasn't been bitchy or nasty, but he just seems to have written Nico off as a serious threat to Lewis. Maybe that's partly because he sees some of himself inby EC83 - F1
Webber is a good example too, yeah. But he still seemed not to be as disappointing as Rosberg so far this year... Maybe it's all the moaning Nico has been doing lately.by EC83 - F1
