i just want Alonso and Vettel to crash between themselves and then Kimi wins it really would be awesome (and may a little too much for my heart)by Frantic - F1
What happens when one driver recieves a ban? Can the reserve driver take the seat for the race or only 1 car is allowed to race?by Frantic - F1
just searched in Windguru and it says its gonna rain 0.6 mm/3h at 14hs and 0.7 mm/3h at 17hs... how much rain is that?by Frantic - F1
found something here. its funny that he said "Being a responsible driver is part of what I am learning" already 7 years ago...by Frantic - F1
Grosjean gets P1 sailing in the track... a little bit out of topic but something that bothers me is that if we have a wet race from the start they surely will start with the Safety Car in and make the first laps a borefest. i know is for safety issues but i miss full-throttle wet startsby Frantic - F1
effectively she has lost his eye and also had a skull fracture... this also shows how lucky is Massa to be driving at this moment. the problem with canopies is how many time would take the driver to get out of the car (or how long would it take to the marshalls to get the driver out). I think i heard you should be capable of getting out in 5 seconds or something like that. anyway i dont thinkby Frantic - F1
found an image, im posting the link because it could be a little bit shocking Clickyby Frantic - F1
I think Kimi will win in Canada, and the Williams will be strong again. and for the wdc, is too hard too predict. This season reminds me of 1982 when no driver won more than 2 times and the champion Keke Rosberg won only one and it was the 14th race out of 16!!! anyway, my bet is Alonso.by Frantic - F1
nice one, Kimi! edit: also Vergne is using Alesi´s helmet designby Frantic - F1
i think it would be unfair to drop Senna. until Spanish Gp he had 14 points and Maldonado 4... he had an awful weekend and thats all. i think we will know if Bruno deserves a seat only at the end of the seasonby Frantic - F1
I dont see the tyres´fragility as a problem, but i dont like the reg of using both prime and option during the race, and neither having onle one tyre supplier. having 2 or more tyre suppliers and not having the obligation of using both tyre types during the race would let the drivers adapt the car to their driving style a little better and we would see more variation in the strategies, somethingby Frantic - F1
i´ll put my bet on Rosberg. he is the only one in the top 5 that has an extra set of soft tyres. I´m also expecting Kimi to do a good raceby Frantic - F1
it is like they (FIA, Ecclestone and Sakhir promoters) are forcing everyone to be there, as teams must race all races of the season... i also have that bad feeling that something is gonna happen. i dont want to say this because its under another circunmstances but after this incident is almost the same feeling as Imola 94 just want this weekend to end, reallyby Frantic - F1
F1 has too many rules today, and some of them I think are just nonsense, like having only 1 tyre provider. having 2 or more tyre brands make the sport a little more unpredictable as there would be some tyres that would adapt better to a certain type of track and that could bring unexpected victories... another problem is the mechanical restrictions: today the cars are way too reliable. 2010. alonso, button and vettel. then button repeated in china.by Frantic - F1
they still will be Lotus, but without the sponsorship of Group Lotus. Dont know how finalized the issue with Tony Fernandes but if David Hunt gave the name rights to Genii they will continue to use it although now they will have no relation with Group Lotus. Is pretty much the same thing as since 1994 the brand Lotus is divided into the racing team (this) and the street car companyby Frantic - F1
yes, Schuey was simply epic there. I think he can bring a good result here, not sure if he will score a pole but he will be there, also Lotus has chances here as they save tyres a lot. Expecting something good from Williams, in pre-season it was reported that they looked awesome on fast corners...by Frantic - F1
Ferrari sadly is going back to be the crappy nervous team they were in the late 80s and first 90sby Frantic - F1
Im pretty sure Ricardo Rodriguez and Clay Regazzoni started their careers with Ferrari but i cant remember anyone else that had started his career since then. Also Gilles Villeneuve raced always with Ferrari except for his debut GP that was with a McLaren...by Frantic - F1
i would like Ferrari to put Trulli in the car, altough he hasnt driven a F1 car recently. He is friend with Alonso, the italians love him, its hard to overtake him and it would give him a nice ending to his career (something I think he deserves). also it could leave a door open for an eventual comeback for Kubica in 2013 if all the rumours are true, or for Perez to have a 2nd complete season at Sby Frantic - F1
if Massa gets kicked at mid-year for sure some of their test drivers will replace him (either Gene, or Fisichella, or even Bianchi). they also could call Algersuari if they wantby Frantic - F1
not so bad, that colours reminds me of the old Yardley McLarens...by Frantic - F1
thank you 9gagby Frantic - Off-Topic
thank you guys!! and yes gav, changing rims made the car look completely different, first time i looked it with the new set really surprised me here are two photos of the inside of the car... it still has to get better as there are some parts that i cannot find yetby Frantic - Off-Topic
his career was practically over and now with this his comeback looks even more difficult. just for the record, no drivers that had a nasty accident like the one Kubica suffered could have a comeback even trying. I think robert will know his career is over when he tests a F1 car again, just like Moss or Pironi after they respective accidents.by Frantic - F1
this is my first car ever, I bought it about a year ago and since then i´ve been restoring it. Its a 1979 Fiat Europa IAVA ("IAVA" was a local car maker that worked like Abarth in Europe, making some Fiat models into a sport spec introducing mechanical, aerodynamical and looking improves.). i wanted to share my work woth you guys so here i will post some photos from the begining of thby Frantic - Off-Topic
its being reported in Brazil that Bruno Senna could have signed with Williams, source here but its in Spanish, sorry for that altough it is still a rumour, it would be a Senna in a Williams Renault... a little bit nostalgicby Frantic - F1
McLaren also has Lewis and Jenson... Glad that Kimi came back, if Lotus make a decent car next year he could bring more than one surpriseby Frantic - F1
i dont see Kimi going to Renault unless Kubica is not coming back, but readed somewhere that Kubica could have signed a pre-contract with Ferrari for 2013 and Boullier wouldnt want to wait for Robert if hes going to another team in 2013. i assumed that was just especulation as I dont see Ferrari risking for another postaccident comeback as they did with Massa, but who knows...by Frantic - F1
My dream is Kimi if he dont get into a Williams (The robertsons already talked to Renault a bit, and QNB sponsoring for williams seems to have failed), but if not, keep Senna and Petrov, and when one of them fail, get Grosjeanby Frantic - F1
