How about this trick: Drag all your jpg's to Slimtex batch to TEX. Ctrl+A or drag a box to select all Width&Height button 256 * 256 Format A8R8G8B8 Transparency Opaque Click convert. Click Batch to GPI tab Drag newly created tex files onto Slimtex Click convertby ZaZ - Grand Prix 4
If you drag a file in the batch box you can see information about that file. You can do the same trick with lots of files of courseby ZaZ - Grand Prix 4
if you don't use transparency, then the alpha channel is not really necessary. the trouble with the gpi's you have is due to the fact gpi files themselves don't contain image information about height and width. for unknown files, Slimtex tries to play smart and guesses resolution based on pixelcount. Gp4 doesn't contain 200 * 200 gpi files, so that's why the image isby ZaZ - Grand Prix 4
@racingstefan the 'open with' option in windows seems to overrule easywad. you can delete it like this goto HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\FileExts\.wad and delete the .wad folder @kewll_fever try turning off your antivirus and try again to see if it worksby ZaZ - Grand Prix 4
Are you running the version I posted earlier in this thread?by ZaZ - Grand Prix 4
The first error is that the mod is configured to use a custom profile but you haven't any. Right click the mod and disable the feature. The second error is most likely a corrupt anim.wadby ZaZ - Grand Prix 4
kewell_fever Schreef: ------------------------------------------------------- > i cant even open csm, lol what happens? racingstefan Schreef: ------------------------------------------------------- > Here's the line: "D:\Grand Prix 4\ZaZ GP4 > Tools\Easywad.exe" /W "%l" %* > > I don't have the option to open the .wad file with > GUI..by ZaZ - Grand Prix 4
Can you show me the exact line? Also, what happens when you rightclick a wad and select 'Open with GUI'by ZaZ - Grand Prix 4
Tweaking the registry is dangerous, but if you accept the risk, take a look here: Computer\HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\EASYWADFILE\shell\GUI\command it should look like this, except that the path may vary of course. The quotes are important! "C:\Program Files (x86)\ZaZ GP4 Tools\Easywad.exe" /W "%l" %*by ZaZ - Grand Prix 4
I'm pretty sure I know where the problem lies. Easywad, by default, doesn't run in an elevated administrator mode. Because it doesn't need to. To register a file association, global registry access is necessary. The little checkbox in Easywad itself changes the virtualstore of the application instead of the real registry. Right click Easywad and then select 'run as adminby ZaZ - Grand Prix 4
to fix the file registration of the wad do the following: open CSM goto file->options->file associations uncheck the boxes press ok check the files you want to associate press ok againby ZaZ - Grand Prix 4
Then you have an old version. Latest released core version is 1.25.0.1173 That's about 47 builds newer and was released quite some months ago. clickehby ZaZ - Grand Prix 4
Does the installer say 1.26 final? It is Win7 compatible and none of the files require a compatibility mode, nor do you have to explicitly elevate it in administrator mode.by ZaZ - Grand Prix 4

Bump. Today I spent a little bit too much money and I am not sure how I'm going to tell the mrs. I bought a candy apple red Fender Jaguar and immediately ordered 2 Seymour Duncan hotrails humbucker pickups to build in. I also bought an Orange Rockerverb 100 top and a Orange 4x12 cabinet with Celestion Vintage 30 speakers. And a brand new Variax 700 to toy with.by ZaZ - Off-Topic

Yeah, sorry. The TGA format doesn't store that sort of info, so it's impossible for Slimtex to know. What you could do is store the tex files in Slimtex by transparency and export to TGA. First select all opaque files and select output folder 'opaque' then select semi and output folder semi etc. When you are done doing your updates drag the opaque folder onto slimtex and seby ZaZ - Grand Prix 4
you should select a transparency setting for your tga's select the whole batch (ctrl + a) or parts of it by dragging a box around it and set transparency to opaque/semi opaque or transparent. if on Vista or Win7 make sure you have write permissions on the destination folder, as Slimtex doesn't run in administrator mode by default. ps. if the checkbox is unchecked, then it writes toby ZaZ - Grand Prix 4

You can assign different MD per profile on a shared track dat, so there's no need to make copies. So an example layout of the folder could be interlagos.dat interlagos.wad default.tmd 2001.tmd 2008.tmd 2005.tmd etc. then in the profile you specify which tmd is to be usedby ZaZ - Grand Prix 4
