I opened th ecase of my pc and had a look and on the graphics card it says "ATI" and "Graphics by Rage, 128 Pro" Does this mean its a 128Mb graphics card, or is it just a name?by Muks_C - Grand Prix 4
Thanks guys, you have all given me an idea of what stuff I need. I have ordered the game and will see how it runs as it is, then make the necessary upgrades.by Muks_C - Grand Prix 4
So would I be able to just fit the new components (RAM, Graphics card and processor) into my desktop? Or will I need a new mother board too? (sorry I don't know much about upgrading PC's)by Muks_C - Grand Prix 4
Fongu, I too am a student. Can you get the really nice graphics like we see on this forum, or do you have to tone it down a bit to run on your machine?by Muks_C - Grand Prix 4
So I should be looking to get about 256mb RAM, AMD 2400+ processor and Radeon 9700 graphics card. Any ideas for the best places to buy these bits?by Muks_C - Grand Prix 4
Hello guys. I am currently still playing GP3-2000 and would like to play GP4. My pc is 2 years old with Pentium III 866 processor, 128mb RAM, and basic graphics card. GP3-2000 runs very well on my machine. Will it be able to run GP4 at a decent quality level? If not, what sort of upgrades should I get? Thanks for your time.by Muks_C - Grand Prix 4
Whats that strange thing on Kimis' face? Oh yeah, its called a smile!by Muks_C - F1
Martin Brundle once told a story about 'the old days' when drivers would get ball bearings and roll them down the exhaust pipes of the car after the race to increase the weight, and he said that its due to stories like this that they have the strict parce ferme rules.by Muks_C - F1
Wow, These pics look amazing. (I am still playing GP3-2000!) Congratulations to all the talented people who make these great looking graphics and cars. I hope to play GP4 one day!by Muks_C - Grand Prix 4
Dinga, could you please email me the bitmaps? I would like to try them out. Muks_C@hotmail.com Thanksby Muks_C - Grand Prix 3
I want the new Bahrain track!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (joke)by Muks_C - Grand Prix 3
Yes but whats the point in having glowing brake discs on a stationary car? Of course you can paint only the static or only the moving bitmaps if you want, but I think Rafen wanted to know if its possible to have glowing discs in the most realistic way, glowing under braking.by Muks_C - Grand Prix 3
Yes I have got that version without chicanes, but was wondering if there was a version with the banking.by Muks_C - Grand Prix 3
Anyone know if there is a version of the Monza track with banking like in the olden days? Thanksby Muks_C - Grand Prix 3
I don't think its possible in GP3 or GP3-2000 because the wheel graphics are just flat bitmaps that are wrapped round, to make them look circular like wheels, so if you want glowing discs you have to paint it into the tyre bitmaps, but they will glow all the time, and not just when you are braking. Hope this helps. Please correct me if I am wrong.by Muks_C - Grand Prix 3
Thanks ChrisLewis. I have done it.by Muks_C - Grand Prix 3
Hi guys. How or where do you set the number of cars? I am using GPXPatch v3.36 I have set the number of laps to 3, but how do I get them to run consecutively? Thanksby Muks_C - Grand Prix 3
I have now got these carshapes from www.f1gp.com.br Thank you!by Muks_C - Grand Prix 3
It says: Connection to site failed: Cannot Find Server (DNS Error) Any ideas? Thanksby Muks_C - Grand Prix 3
However I try to download it, it still won't work. Normally everything works fine with DAP, but it can't find the server it keeps saying.by Muks_C - Grand Prix 3
Hi. The carshape and camera views look great in the previews, but I can't download them. I keep getting an error message which says cannot find server. Any chance it will be in the downloads of Grandprixgames.org? Thanksby Muks_C - Grand Prix 3
