well i've read the review, it's a bit to positive indeed imho. I cant find any critisism, and while i'm sure it's a fine game, i doubt it'll be gods gift to humanity.by <Maverick> - Other Games

>>>>>> <<<<<<<<< here you can download a s/f straight with a pitlane on it. All flags are perfectly placed and the only thing you have to do is put track sectors between the beginning and the end. a working track guaranteed for every new editor in town. enjoyby <Maverick> - Grand Prix 4
have you checked the "two sided" box for the texture/material? Webberfabn: bahrain is not progressing fast atm, time and motivation are the problems atm.by <Maverick> - Grand Prix 4
i had this problem in my early tracks, solved later thanks to (onder andere ) betetr calculations. Maybe your first and last sector dont line up nice enough?by <Maverick> - Grand Prix 4
Lo2k Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > @Maverick: I re-tought about your multiple detach > job in the night: for such job, it's surely faster > to export the rail object and slice it in an > external tool before importing back the two > separated objects. very true, this is what i did in the current bahrain version. But i cant get the nby <Maverick> - Grand Prix 4
It depends on what you might want to recycle into you track, i would start by leaving stuff in, you can always delete things you dont need later.by <Maverick> - Grand Prix 4
jup, just delete the ccline and you're fine. You can even race on it, but the cc's will crash in the first corner.by <Maverick> - Grand Prix 4
oh, i thought it was done on purpose, so textures would match up nicelyby <Maverick> - Grand Prix 4
Lo2k Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > yep but think at one thing : you will now need to > click hundreds or maybe thousands times to assign > the right texture to each of your new object... true. Another problem i stumbled uppon.. when i want to detach a couple hundred rails parts to make them a advertisement. Half of them is mirrored. this is no pby <Maverick> - Grand Prix 4
great about the class thing. About many objects, wel yes thats true, but isn't that where scenes where made for? That way you can put the track/verge/objects all in a diferent scene so you can have a good overview of your trackby <Maverick> - Grand Prix 4
sounds reasonable... But it would be good if i could say repeat for X times. Insteas of perssing the hotkey 200x Also, i dont think there's much against the batch thing, how often do you have to edit a whole section of a original track? and most of them have short rails and stuff, not circuitlong as with new ones. or yopu could just generate a new fence, and it's al sorted. Maybby <Maverick> - Grand Prix 4
that is a problem maybe you can fix it in some other way, as the reason why i suggest this is because for instance on the s/f straight the rails should be ads, so i need to get about 200 faces to another part. You can see thats a lot of clicking :+ Maybe selecting Multiple faces and detaching them? or something suggested before for banks and such.. a batch editor? So you can set face X to Xby <Maverick> - Grand Prix 4
ok, well i thought i could fix the pitlane bug i always ahd, but its still a mistery to me. On a other subject: could you also make a hotkey for detaching faces? for instance ctrl-D-1 to make it a part of part 1 and ctrl-d-6 to make it part of part 6. all the other actions have hotkeys, but detaching doesn't.by <Maverick> - Grand Prix 4
hm, what a total ass i am :Xby <Maverick> - Grand Prix 4
Laurent I have a strange thing with bahrain, if i open the track flaglist i get this: Where the difference is told to be 43 instead of 33 sectors, if i open a other track it does tell me to hold on to a 33 sectors difference. Am i right, or is 3deditor right?by <Maverick> - Grand Prix 4
nice feature, although i must confess i had to search to find it :+ Will do a total rebuild of bahrain somewhere this week (graphical) and consult with erwin, maybe we can finaly get bahrain done soonby <Maverick> - Grand Prix 4
dont use the shortcut made by the game on the desktop, it checks for dx8. Just make a new one, or start gp4 with the gp4.exe or gpxpatch.by <Maverick> - Grand Prix 4
tonight i'll go on a vacation, so my server with downloads will be offline, also i wont be contactable See you all in 2 weeksby <Maverick> - Grand Prix 4
