It will be here too, as soon as I can login at the members area... About the frontwing: The FW25 just has a high frontwing, I can't help it.by _Erix_ - Grand Prix 4
lol, I thought he was fooling you with Sepang :Dby _Erix_ - Grand Prix 4
We're almost there! I've been reshaping the lower lods and am now remapping them. I also have some normals to fix. Duco has almost finished the textures and will create templates this weekend. I expect the release to be next Tuesday or Wednesday.by _Erix_ - Grand Prix 4
LOL From what I recall it's somewhere near the hairpin.by _Erix_ - Grand Prix 4
I'm not interrested in a competition with Erwin, Andy, Wai, Matt or anyone else. My aim is to make the best car I possibly can. The gratitude I receive afterwards is satisfying but not the main drive for me. I just like making them. I think you painters are doing a fantastic job and there's no need to compare. @Ellis, Yes Opera is simply amazing. It's as fast and reliable as the F2by _Erix_ - Grand Prix 4
I understand what you are saying and I agree that the installation should be kept very simple at all times. The thing is I don't like to mess around with gp4 tweakers. I know from several cases that the game gets corrupted by using them or they just won't work. So there you are with a beautiful F2003-GA in your game but unable to have the right position for helmet and steering wheel, maby _Erix_ - Grand Prix 4
Viper, Off course our car is as real as can be. I just don't want to bother people with coordinates for helmets and steering wheels. The cockpit will fit the helmet and steering wheel positions and the position of the suspensions remains unaltered. The compromises are hardly noticable in-game though. That's what I meant with a real 'GP4 car'.by _Erix_ - Grand Prix 4
Ellis, I'm running Opera 7.11 too but it wasn't recognized Opera uses the IE6 signature to be able to view MSN sites without getting stupid messages.by _Erix_ - Grand Prix 4
Well, it comes with alot of headaches, sweat and frustration but in the end happiness prevails. @Alex: A superb Jag, made by Erwin&Guyon, is on its way to your cars.wad. Just hold on!by _Erix_ - Grand Prix 4
@Neil The BAR and will have a nose-fix (I wasn't happy with the old ones), new rear wing (incl end plates) and some mapping fixes. Don't worry, your textures will still fit. It just concerns minor changes. @supergogeta I think he meant g&b to be 0by _Erix_ - Grand Prix 4
Incredible how you caught the essence of this car.by _Erix_ - Grand Prix 4
We are having some delay due to Duco's school work I can't really give you a release date yet... In the meantime I've updated the Jordan and am updating the BAR just a bit. Duco will be making blank templates and per GP-textures when neccesary.by _Erix_ - Grand Prix 4
Here's a nice picture for reference: proves your sidepods are correct. Keep it up Wai, you're almost there!by _Erix_ - Grand Prix 4
Wai, please continue with your Sauber and McLaren. They both are already amazing. It would be a shame to stop building them just because of this... Please rise above this and kick ass with your new works of art KJ, you tell us you only modified the front, how come the rear is the mp4/17D's?by _Erix_ - Grand Prix 4
That's Duco's job I can assure you it will be done!by _Erix_ - Grand Prix 4
Yes, I have made assymmetrical exhausts as shown on the pic. I also have a version with symmetrical ones like they used at Barcelona. The car is a real gp4 car unlike Ghost/Viper's which is a convert from that other F1 game. This means it has real gp4 damage and the driver in the right place. @F1Master: The EJ13 will be updated shortly with a new nose and the latest features of the real one.by _Erix_ - Grand Prix 4

Duco and I have been working hard lately on the FW25. Release will hopefully be somewhere next week.by _Erix_ - Grand Prix 4
Once you have unlocked a car with genius you can edit it in ZModeler. After importing it into ZM you should save it as a z3d file (standard ZM file). When you export it to a .gp4 you should use capitals as extention: car.GP4. You'd better use the new cars to paint on because they have a more logical texture mapping compared to the originals. Some (like Arrows) are really messy and full of bby _Erix_ - Grand Prix 4
Great news about the tyres! It's a real bother we can't edit the tyres with either Genius or ZM. So there's more info in the gp4 files then meets the eye? It would be great to have a tyre editor as well...by _Erix_ - Grand Prix 4
