Thanks a lot, guys! I really appreciate your work on keeping this thing up! Actually I really would like to continue development adding more race spec versions of the cars. 1994 was a tough year, regulations have changed in the middle of the championship, so the cars undergone a lot of changes. Every team have a lot of new elements almost every race! It's very challenging for modeling. I alrby mckey415 - Grand Prix 4
Hi burazel, well, to be honest mod development is completely stopped. Me and Diego haven't done anything new for almost a year or two. I don't know if we will ever get back to this.by mckey415 - Grand Prix 4
"Improved compatibility of GP3/GP3-2000/GP4 with Windows Vista/7/8/10, so no compatibility settings of administrator rights should be needed to run the game." - That's really great! Thanks a lot!by mckey415 - Grand Prix 4
Yeah, I love this Honda HSV-10! I remember some years ago I've been building it's 3d model in ZM, but unhappily crashed hdd buried this project... Sexy car!by mckey415 - Grand Prix 4
@TomMK: If I remember correctly we used Duffer's cockpit shape and texture set. You may try to contact him.by mckey415 - Grand Prix 4
@TomMK: hi! what texture template you mean? actual car cockpit texture or in-cockpit view texture?by mckey415 - Grand Prix 4
The problem is that you don't have CD/DVD drive in your laptop. I've experienced the same problems after I installed the game and replaced exe with decrypted and no-cd patched one. Seems that no-cd patch requires physical presence of DVD drive in your computer. If you don't have one at all no-cd patch do not works. The solution is to mount ISO file with the game.by mckey415 - Grand Prix 4
It was the first thing that I tried - no luckby mckey415 - Grand Prix 4
Hi guys, another Windows 8.1 issue here. I reinstalled my OS, having clear Windows 8.1 installation now and suddenly run into problems with GP4 SlimTex. It refuses to run saying Unable to create Direct3D device. It worked well before OS reinstalling - previous one was Windows 8.1 too but upgraded from Windows 8. I checked dxdiag and it says my Direct3D is enabled. Any ideas how to solve thisby mckey415 - Grand Prix 4
great addition to our mod! thanks a lot, I'll check it asap!by mckey415 - Grand Prix 4
I tested download limk and seems it works ok. What kind of error do you get when you try to download mod?by mckey415 - Grand Prix 4

Well, I know it's a little bit too late, but better late then never. Yesterday was a hard day for all F1 fans and modding community in particular. To commemorate 20 years of black weekend and remember Ayrton and Roland we release a project that was in development for so many years - 1994 F1 mod. It contains a fully remodeled cars with all shape and livery modifications from season staby mckey415 - Grand Prix 4
Same thing here. I tried all sort of thing and ended running in XP SP3 mode with admin rights and inserting game CD. In this case I was able to run the game.by mckey415 - Grand Prix 4
Yes, gp4db was ran by Tony. We worked together on DTM mod project. But Tony disappeared long time ago and I was unable to contact him anyway. So no chance to get gp4db back, sorry.by mckey415 - Grand Prix 4
Hmm... I've found out very strange thing: I already wrote that when I set gp4.exe to any compatibility mode it starts to ask for game CD. I downloaded ISO file mounted it (it's very easy in Win8 ) and tried to run the game in compatibility mode. And it works! So it's not a graphics issue... I can't say that it's a fix but some info to think on...by mckey415 - Grand Prix 4
Well, maybe it's really related to graphics. I tried to delete f1graphics and cards.txt files, so that game could create default ones itself. No result. Also I tried to disable autoselecting graphics adapter for the game by manually setting it to run with intel 4000 and radeon hd using switchable graphics settings in Catalyst Control Center - no luck too.by mckey415 - Grand Prix 4
I don't even try to run the game through GPxPatch! I try to run gp4.exe. My game is already installed in c:\games\grand prix 4 folder.by mckey415 - Grand Prix 4
Hi guys! Sorry for starting another thread on the same old topic. I read them all still cannot get my GP4 to work. So, I had my notebook with Win7 and GP working fine. I installed Win8 x64 Ent and every time when I try to run the game I get only a black screen. I tried the following tricks: 1. run the game via launching gp4.exe, via gpxpatch and csm - only black screen. 2. set gp4 compaby mckey415 - Grand Prix 4

Yes, everything's right. I have both cars\aida and tex\aida with shape and textures inside respectively. I'm choosing Monaco GP in CSM and still see default brazilian car ingame. Where can I download 95 mod? I tried link at the first page of the thread but mediafire closed...by mckey415 - Grand Prix 4
Thanks for reply! Here's my Williams\default.ini file: cardefault =Interlagos cartrack4 =Aida texdefault =Interlagos cartex4 =Aida Format= Dir1 =Car\%cardefault%,Car\(cartrack%tracknum%),Car\%trackname%,%cartexres%,%cartexres%,%cartexres%\%texdefault%,%cartexres%\(textrack%tracknum%),%cartexres%\%trackname% and it doesn't work. Any ideas?by mckey415 - Grand Prix 4
Hi guys! I have some questions regarding csm mod config files. 1. How to accomplish that csm use one gp spec car for another gp? Let's say in 94 many cars was similar for pacific and monaco gp. It is possible to copy pacific gp shape and tex to monaco folder but it's not a right solution. So is it possible to configure csm to use pacific gp car for monaco and how to do it? And continby mckey415 - Grand Prix 4
