I have 2018 running on windows 11 But it's only a virtual raceby auscain - Grand Prix 4
Am I seeing things or is the reference picture you sent me not vertical sides LOL I can easily rebuild them I thought it was strange that they would not be vertical. Let me know because if they are to be vertical you need more tolerance +0.5mm. Edit: New Straight Sides .STLby auscain - Off-Topic

I like every little tweak we can get out of it! Nice to see around ZAZby auscain - Grand Prix 4
I can build them in 3D and print the prototypes here in CA. You need to supply an accurate drawing. doesn't matter the file type (even a hand sketch will do) as I will most likely redraw it way. Then send you the files? Do you know which filament you want to use as the sizing changes slightlyby auscain - Off-Topic
It may well be working. I believe you should try again to build the pit lane from the beginning. Use the coordinates from 830 track sector position (F6) and also the CC coordinates (F0) input those numbers into sector 0 pitlane. Do the same thing for track sector 831 positions and use those numbers in the sector 1 pitlane. Then in this case move the Right hand side width of the pitlane to 6.3by auscain - Grand Prix 4
You could try adding this to the INI file: AdjustRed=2 AdjustGreen=4 AdjustBlue=6by auscain - Grand Prix 4
I would be interested in taking a look at the problems you are having with the CC line Please supply a link to the Montreal oval track you based on.by auscain - Grand Prix 4
The first corner sounds like it is a bit tight. I am happy to help if there is still trouble TomMK.by auscain - Grand Prix 4
It is not easy at all. Creating a good environment is probably the most complex thing. In regards to the texture, it was created in Photoshop and then rendered into multiple frames in 'blender' using a previous flag-waving setup. The texture sequence was just meant to be proof of concept. It needs all kinds of work: 1. Transparency. 2. Lighting including colour. 3. It canby auscain - Grand Prix 4
A blender file that I started: Blender Fog It is just an idea!by auscain - Grand Prix 4
You do not have to displace the American flag. Just Remap the flag after the texture size changes. As you can see below. (The blue background is added just so you can see them). These are all rendered in blender, applying different physics. An Australian flag, a Holden flag, helicopter blades and helicopter blade shadow. You could actually have multiple fog textures eg. 4 or more. Allby auscain - Grand Prix 4
You could try rendering 10 atx frames in blender. Your fog texture does look good. I believe an almost circular motion could work for a small 10 frame loop. Then possibly add layers of 3d planes overlapping.by auscain - Grand Prix 4
Nicely done, René. That is a lot of fast work from you Thank you again for your efforts.by auscain - Grand Prix 4
In the same folder as the custom track. GPxPatch will find it there! Right click and create a New Text Document.txt copy and paste the and adjust coordinates. Do not forget to save it as (eg.OranPark2009.ini) which is not absolutely necessary unless you have multiple .ini in the same folder. You can find more information by clicking help in GPxPatch or G:/Infogrames/Grand Prix 4/gpxpdataby auscain - Grand Prix 4
Import the magic file that you created earlier...by auscain - Grand Prix 4
I can probably do it quicker than explain it. What track you need it for and is it just two of them on the start-finish straight? Basically they are coordinates X Y So you just have to make a vertical plane on the track the size you want the rippling Haze and get the coordinates from the object. I can almost remember now. (3.199 0.991 0.002 0.134) this number is to do with the size of theby auscain - Grand Prix 4
Thanks would love to have a look aroundby auscain - Grand Prix 4
For the original circuits the magic information is stored in the GP4.EXE. Go to Edit and select create from gp4.exe Select the track number you wish to extract, one at a time, and click OK. The magic data file will be created and simply placed in the same folder as the Cmagic4_102.exe is stored. You should be aware that I am not following this topicby auscain - Grand Prix 4
