This is a 'game changer' patch! I updated the two bytes and the game suddenly had a behaviour like current F1. Cars start with heavy fuel, full tank and running quite slow. In fact, just before the pit the cars are dramatically slower than after pitting, 3-4 seconds easily in my test at montmelo. Now it's time to fine tune tyre degradation and so on, but now cars are much fasterby Ali - Grand Prix 4

Nice to see 2017 cars ingame. Question: Where can I get these tyres and rims? I got some in the forum, but I have empty/white rims. Thanks!by Ali - Grand Prix 4
Yes, I did it and reduced the size of the wad to 110MB aprox. Now it works fine. Thanksby Ali - Grand Prix 4
Hello All, I downloaded recently a Sochi 2014 version and at the race start the CPU usage jumps to 2000%. In other tracks (most of them) this usage is never higher than 40% aprox. This track has a 200MB wad, which I guess it is a super-high resolution track. Is there any trick to reduce this occupancy?by Ali - Grand Prix 4
Hello everybody, the file with the pit entry fixed is no longer available. Where can I get it? Track is cool! Cheers,by Ali - Grand Prix 4
That was exactly what I was looking for. Great! I could change them and add some updated background videos.by Ali - Grand Prix 4
Hello all, this is probably an old issue, but I can't find the way to change GP4 menu background images. There has to be some old tool to do it, but I couldn't find the way! Thanks in advance.by Ali - Grand Prix 4
Hello all, how can I change the speed trap position in a given track? I was expecting to have some sort of parameter in GP4info stuff in a dat file, but I don't really know. Secondly...is there a way of storing the speed trap info in a file, exporting the results? Thanks!!!!by Ali - Grand Prix 4

Simply changing the track name IN the game, in the track selection menu.by Ali - Grand Prix 4
Sorry if this sounds a little bit simple but how do I change the gand prix names in the track selection menu? Where you can select the track to race in? I've done it before, I'm pretty sure, but now I Can't remember...by Ali - Grand Prix 4
Having a clearly inferior car to red bull during these time span (2010-2013), with 5 more points (added to 252) in 2010 and 4 more in (added to 278) 2012 he would 4 times WDC. I can't see how that can be conceived as a "shadow of what he was".by Ali - F1
Well, first you should play GP4 with GPxPatch which allows you to choose different tracks for any slot. 1- Before, you should check the properties of the track using CMagic tool. There is a button that allows you to see the so Called GP4info values. There you must create a property called Prefix, and assign the value "hockenheim2001". 2- Then load the track with GPxPatch (GPxTrackby Ali - Grand Prix 4
I could use it without a problem. As the track it's about 500 meters longer than the real one, I adjusted quite dramatically the timing factor in the magic data to get 1.41 and 1.42 times, but when that's in place, you can't hardly notice that the time goes a little bit slower and the outcome is simply stunnig, really good, good stuff!!!!!!!by Ali - Grand Prix 4

Well, McLaren was not that bad... they use to push on Fridays but still, they are fast...by Ali - F1

I find it irrelevant, honestly. I think that is probably the less important consideration for people watching F1... I´ve never needed any special "visual help" to understand which driver was on the screen...by Ali - F1

I think you're overreacting. I think McLaren will be there. By being there I mean in the Q3 and figthing for the top 5. I don't think they are in Red Bull pace or/and maybe Ferrari, but inmediately behind them. I do really think McLaren can be relatively close, probably matching Mercedes and Renault at least. But maybe I'm wrong, it's just a feeling.by Ali - F1

IOt is amazing how these cars have evolved from the early 2009 season, with bizarre cases like the R29, which was the ugliest car one can see to the curernt ones, soft, smooth shapes...by Ali - F1

Massa had some good years in F1 when he was driving the best car (2006, 2007 and 2008) with little challenge from other teams (in 2006 only Renault was equal or close, and in 2007 and 2008 only McLaren was at similar level), so with little effort he was at least 4th (and he has always been a fine qualifier). This year Ferrari has been the 3rd fastest car in many races and only the best one inby Ali - F1
Any good stream to watch the frees from germany?by Ali - F1
I would say title is 40-40-20 between Alonso-Webber- Vettel. It is reasonable to think that the three guys are the fastest so a podium with them in it is highly possible in Abu Dhabi. But the F10 is slower than the Reb Bull so I think, unless the quali for Alonso is amazingly good, that he cannot beat them. So I find really difficult to believe that Red Bull would really lose the drivers titleby Ali - F1
I find it ridiculous, honestly... "... Nobody can predict what would have happened if Alonso, whose tyres were in better shape later on, had been forced to attack Hamilton. He may still have won the race but it is also easy to envisage Massa winning with Hamilton second and Alonso third. Had that been the case, Alonso would now lead the championship by just a single point from Mark Webbby Ali - F1
In fact, as far as I know, Alonso has quite a few friends in F1. I think his relation with Trulli is/was good (remember how happy they were back in 2005 after one of the qualifying sessions at the beginning of the year -they were in Renault and Toyota- and took P1 and P2... they were extremely friendly one with the other). After that, I think he is also quite friend of Fisichella, Webber and Kubiby Ali - F1
