If Webber wins with Vettel 2nd and Alonso 3rd, Webber takes the title by 2 points.
If Webber wins with Alonso 2nd, Alonso takes the title by 1 point.

yeah what EC says is that if Alonso finishes second he'll win it, or if the same podium as this race repeats he'll win it as well

but didn't notice it was Kubica who pushed him wide... he did the same in canada

Hmm. I think Montreal was hard but fair, and it was justified for Kubica to push him wide after Schumacher had squeezed him on to the grass. Here it was probably fair. It's probably about what Schumacher deserves given one or 2 of his close-to-the-bone moves.

Du you know why Heidfeld got drive-thru penalty?

I would say title is 40-40-20 between Alonso-Webber- Vettel.

It is reasonable to think that the three guys are the fastest so a podium with them in it is highly possible in Abu Dhabi. But the F10 is slower than the Reb Bull so I think, unless the quali for Alonso is amazingly good, that he cannot beat them. So I find really difficult to believe that Red Bull would really lose the drivers title because Vettel finishes ahead of Webber. I think would be a terrible mistake from Red Bull.
And still, the only chance Webber has is to win and it is something that has happened 4 times of 18 races, so it is not necessarily obvious that he can do it...

Ignoring blue flags

I have no idea what was going on after the safety car, there was complete lack of blue flags. They should let the lapped cars unlap themselves again as that was stupid so many lead drivers were getting held up.

It was an ok race nothing special but enjoyable.

Great job by Button though, some good over takes by Lewis and him.

Personally, I really enjoyed watching the drivers have to find their own way through, particularly after having watched the BBC 'classic F1' vid of Senna doing the same in 1991. I'm starting to get bored with the blue flags; I think negotiating traffic is becoming a lost art.

And yeah, Button did very well to end up only a couple of seconds behind Lewis - what a shame he hasn't been able to get on top of the car in qualifying.

Its interesting that Schumacher claims to have let Rosberg by at the end of the race as Nico was faster.

Maybe he wants Nico to return the favour next time MS is behind him, as he didn't do in Suzuka.

In a situation like that, all lapped cars should be forced to drive through the pit lane, so none of them lose position but the guys on the lead lap dont have any trouble getting past.

the only problem is that after the safety car we lost the chance to see webber attack vettel and alonso attack webber. vettel had a really nice cushion with I cant remember how many cars in between

There were just the 2 cars between Vettel and Webber. Webber was asleep at the restart, so had to wait until the back straight for Kubica to let him through.

My problem with Heidfeld getting the drive-through was that Senna and Massa didn't. Senna was atrocious on numerous occasions during the race - it was like he was at home, so thought he'd get some coverage by refusing to yield. Massa ignored the blue flags to such an extent that when Rosberg lapped him, Massa unlapped himself! I mean, that's fair enough if Rosberg was going slowly, but he wasn't, he just hadn't been let through by the car ahead of Massa! Massa fannied about infront of Rosberg for laps.

And there were blue flags, but for whatever reason most chose to ignore them throughout the race.

How Heidfeld was the only one to get punished I've no idea. Complete Brazilian bias from what I saw.

The blue flags were a joke. But what was the bigger joke was the teams response. They really should have been on the radio constantly saying.

Senna was bad, real bad. Likewise Massa was bad, and Merc lost out bigtime!! Likewise the STR's were terrible at moving over. Such a shame... F1 should copy Nascar and imo all lapped cars should pass the SC and return to their posistions allowing the cars behind to take up their rightful place. Let the racing go ahead. Its a joke and Seb had a rather easy time.

They did that at one point - and I'm not entirely sure why they STOPPED doing that.

SPOT ON !!! kubica is a moroon. I didnt notice what he's done during the race coverage, but now i see why schumacher lost so many positions.
Besides, how is it possible to squeeze someone so wide on that corner ... i have never ever seen someone beeing squeezed there.

And one more thing for Slash and the other schumi fans ... this is the second race in a row where he overtakes the No.1 car, namely the one of button :P . good signs for next year

WTF, how can you call Kubica a "moroon" (lol) for pushing someone wide when the person he pushed wide was the person who has spent most of his life pushing people wide?

Kubica has done a stella job this year!

well i wasn't really complaining, more like pointing out that some drivers are adopting that style of pushing others but nobody seems to care, everybody only panic when Michael does it....

another unfair incident was Buemi's with Massa, i don't know what Buemi was trying to do after he lost the position and then went to touch Massa's rear left.. he deliberately change his line to do it... i would understand if it was a long straight and he was trying to get under his slipstream but he then tried the same on Kobayashi i think it was

yup, i think the best thing of his recent races is the consistency, he now seems a bit more consistent than half season, the speed is there, and now he seems to have solved his consistency problems, next step, Qualys :-p

It was because safety car periods were too long when they did that.
