Did you guys read this? Apparently, Ferrari is not satisfied at all with their car. They even prohibited both drivers from talking with the press between the tests and the first race. Things are not very good in Maranello camp it seems, heh.by Joe_Satriani - F1
I'm not saying that it's happening again, but everyone had the exact same comments about the car speed not being real after the initial tests for the Brown GP car, and we all know how that turned out. I think it's too premature to either say they are winning it all this year, or write them off completely. Just chill guysby Joe_Satriani - F1
Yuck, that's terrible. Hope that nose fails for everyone and we can get back to something that looks more decent.by Joe_Satriani - F1
I'm probably biased, but Kimi for me was always the most talented one from the new generation of drivers. Not the most cerebral, or the most inspired perhaps, but the most talented. He had performances in his career that are jaw dropping. I think he was very unlucky in 2003-2006 with McLaren. They either produced a very bad car, or produced a fast one that didn't work for more than 10 lby Joe_Satriani - F1
I gotta say...I'm excited to see this dude racing again. If Renault can produce a half decent car this year, he might just snag a victory in Spa again :Dby Joe_Satriani - F1
Kimi confirmed at Lotus as well.by Joe_Satriani - F1
Yes, finally!! And agreed with Duffer, now I can watch F1 againby Joe_Satriani - F1
And Rosberg has signed a contract extension with Mercedes:by Joe_Satriani - F1
Well, considering that I stopped watching Formula 1 after he left Ferrari, you can see why I'd like to see the dude backby Joe_Satriani - F1
I'm biased, because I'm a fan of the dude, and while I agree that he is sort of a plug and play driver, I think he will help whatever team he is in in different ways. Next year, Williams will be using Renault (now Lotus I guess) engines, which should improve a lot already. They also have a new technical director, which if I'm not mistaken is the same dude at Ferrari back in 2007. Nby Joe_Satriani - F1
I hope he comes back. Then I can start watching F1 again :D Right now it's too boring without himby Joe_Satriani - F1
I think the Montoya thing was in 2006 at Melbourne...but Fisichella, I think, let the engine die and he was able to start on the right spot.by Joe_Satriani - F1
That's very interesting stuff Morbid. Could even explain why BMW did a good 2008 season and then plummeted the next year.by Joe_Satriani - F1
ROFL, Kimi is still awesome in his statements...with two sentences he put a huge block in front of all the speculation. Although I would love to see him back in F1, Renault seemed a strange choice. I think he would drive only for McLaren or RedBull, since I doubt he would be heading back to Ferrari after the way things went.by Joe_Satriani - F1

I switched it off as soon as I entered the game as that is the way I used to play Gp4...no overlays at all. But in this game you get quite lost since you don't get the same amount of info in the wheel.by Joe_Satriani - Other Games
Yeah, I decided to play a bit more, and slowly I'm finding some ways around the issues. The pitstop thing I solved by always shifting the window by 1 or 2 laps then the one suggest by the AI. Usually the computer puts my stop at the same time as the others, so that has worked for me in the last few races quite well. Also, I dunno why, but after I turned the mini-map on, the rubber banding AIby Joe_Satriani - Other Games
Would be cool if someone made a mod to turn off those tyre punctures...I've managed to find a way to have some fun with the game after messing with the difficulty settings, but the tyre thing is really bugging me...Had about 4 races out of 10 that were ruined because of the tyres.by Joe_Satriani - Other Games
Yep...that´s a bit infuriating. Also the fact that pitstops are basically down to luck is kinda screwd up. In one race I was running 9th with a virgin and when I pitted and came back, I was 24th and I couldn't even see the car in front. It's funny that they made a F1 game that doesn't really take laptimes into account. Lap times is probably the most important part of F1. The badby Joe_Satriani - Other Games
Argh...punctures and tyre performance are really bugging me. I just can't compete with the AI at all when the weather is overcast. I lose way too much grip on corners, and at Malaysia it's basically impossible right now. Yesterday the best I could do was 22nd place, but the car was all over the place. And punctures were a huge problem over at Sakhir...I was trying to do a 100% race fby Joe_Satriani - Other Games
The AI part is very disappointing after all. After playing some more, it is clearly impossible to have a race GP4 style where you are indeed having battles with the AI that are meaningful. Finishing a full race in GP4 is always good fun, and feels right compared to this game. I thought I would be able to retire GP4, seems unlikely...going to install it again later as suddenly want to play a F1 gaby Joe_Satriani - Other Games
Civ 5 is pretty heavy. At least the demo is. Not sure about the final game. It's heavy on graphics at least. I had to put everything on medium to low on my PC running a 9600GT. Not sure about the impact on CPU as I am running a Core i7 :D F1 2010 was the opposite. Everything set on high.by Joe_Satriani - Other Games

So, I played this yesterday. Overall, as a GP4 fan who couldn't really get into rFactor, I think this is a great follow up to the Grand Prix series. I didn't have much time to play last night as I got home quite late, so I only managed a few laps at Bahrain, Melbourne and Sepang. I haven't played racing games in a long time though, and the last one I did play was Dirt 2, so thisby Joe_Satriani - Other Games
Kimi and Massa to Renault next yearby Joe_Satriani - F1
I dunno...in NBA 2k10 you can save mid-game to continue later. But I also think that if they left the save option out so they could concentrate on other things, then it was a good choice. And I'll be buying this for PC. I just got a Core i7 to run Civilization V, so F1 should be fineby Joe_Satriani - Other Games
Am I the only one seeing Suzuka all over it? First set of corners after T1 is very similar to the first sector in Suzuka. And the last few corners look a lot like Spoon.by Joe_Satriani - F1
Well, no one could touch Alonso at Monza in 2007. Let's see what he can do this year.by Joe_Satriani - F1
