I'd like to see Button and Magnussen kept -something which seems more likely now (and, by the way, does anyone else think that Ron being back isn't helping McLaren?) Verstappen looks great, but I'd like to see JEV stay in F1, as he has done a good enough job IMO. Wouldn't lose any sleep if the following drivers dropped away: Massa Maldonaldo Chilton Guttierez Andby Red Sam - F1

Eddie Jordan (that fountain of knowledge) says that the track is Lewis Hamiltons best, and if he doesn't win here he'll be in trouble. For Nico, he can afford to finish second so I guess the priority will be different...by Red Sam - F1

Penalties for Engine Changes etc. - 12 years ago
Hi All Having just read about the latest penalty for Romain Grosjean, for a gearbox change, I was wondering how fair it is that the driver is penalised for a car failure in this way. Sooner or later, a championship will be decided based on penalties. Why not, if a change has to take place outside of the rules, instead forefit a percentage of any constructor points that the car gains overby Red Sam - F1

Must say, I am getting a bit sick of Massa obsessing over Hamilton - but I don't think that move from Lewis was ever on, not in such a high speed corner. The first similar accident that came to mind for me was Burti/Irvine at Spa a few years back - different outcome that time though.by Red Sam - F1

I'm very similar in that I used to subscribe to F1 Racing, and got a very good rate for it. I stopped because a) it was getting a bit "tabloidy" b) I altered my subscription to pay more money, but didnt get the free gift I was promised :@ Stopped getting Autosport for a few years too, but back nowby Red Sam - Off-Topic

A good rather than outstanding race. Vettel was in a class of his own, really. The other big standouts were Petrov and Perez (who, like Kobayashi, didn't have a great junior record but seems to have taken to F1). Rubens had a weekend to forget really, but he is allowed the odd one every now and then! Mercedes didn't get the chance to really show strongly, but probably at aroundby Red Sam - F1

Surely the most effective way to really annoy Simon Cowell etc would be a coordinated voting effort so that Wagner wins this year? The only thing about Red Bull is that they force the drivers to use the Red Bull design on their helmet (unless you have been driving elsewhere, like DC or MW) Drivers helmets used to be all about individual design, and you'd keep it no matter what.by Red Sam - F1

The points system just goes round and round in circles. As soon as someone walks away with the championship like Schumacher did in the mid 2000s, the system will be changed again to stop the winner having such an advantage. Thats what happened last time. The only regret is that, with the jump to 25 points for a win, the stats become a bit messed up historically.by Red Sam - F1
