Rubens, driving the new Indycar. On a side note, I took this picture. There are several others of TK riding right past me, also Legge and a bunch of others.by slicer - F1
Much in the way DEVO wore their radiation suits, the mechanics, and everyone for that matter, wear protection for any kind of danger, seen or unforseen, such as rain, shine, cancer, AIDS, fuel, rejection, and flying Webbers. On the subject of DEVO, the work suits would look great in yellow.. Someone needs to edit a photo of the Jordan F1 cars..by slicer - F1
Love the RB pic. It's great you can totally tell he is much happier in Indy than Formula One. He's a more chipper now than ever, most likely due to the fact that he was probably going nowhere in Williams. I'll be meeting him at Long Beach!by slicer - F1
How awesome. I'm going to personally see one of my heros in F1 come to Long Beach. Just way too awesome. In fact I'm pestering everybody that weekend with interviews, for they shall kneel at the sight of my giant video camera. Any questions ya'll want to ask Rubens?by slicer - F1
uhm..... as far as I am concerned.. that was some awesome BS right there. Simple answer: Sky sports is british.... thus calculate it for britain's timezone and add one hour. Germany is one timezone away from england.. I thinks. I may be sorely mistaken. So if I am mistaken, add by the distance between Germany and England in units of timezones. There, much more simpler than theby slicer - F1
This article is much more clearer. I really hope he does Indy, as Im going to Long Beach. I'd never thought in a million years he would be in Indy.by slicer - F1

So about the original question of this thread.... I had the same question too but it looks as if it never really got answered. Just to add to the convo before and not come off as a lifeless idiot I feel for Dan as well. Never thought I would witness anything like that in my lifetime. But onto business. I'm going to Long Beach this year and I want to get a good feel of what is going onby slicer - Other Motorsports
These guys have too much fun. I bet they purposfully do that just to make people look stupid in cockpit. I love it!! By the way, do any of those two seaters hold a candle to any of the single seaters at all?by slicer - Other Motorsports
Love the Lewis pics.. us armchair warriors have too much time on our hands.by slicer - F1
So yeah I think it's official: I'm so tired of ranting on about the ugly cars that I've decided to live with it... School is in session for me and I don't have the time or energy to scream at my computer screen for minutes on hand. People, these cars better be dang fast for me to completely accept the noses. I will admit some of the teams actually got it to look dang goodby slicer - F1
Isaint, it's perfect except for one thing... The 6 on the nose kind of screws up the effect.by slicer - F1
Shrinking engine sizes. And they get smaller, and smaller, and smaller, and smaller, and smaller. You get the idea.by slicer - F1
This isn't Formula One, this is Failure One.by slicer - F1
Thanks for clearing that up, Gav. It's a very intriguing ruleset, though. I'm guessing the FIA wanted the noses to slope down, instead of "lego" down. And if it is true the noses will be lower in 2014 (And I have a copy of the regs, of which I should probably check before making posts) then either the teams will follow the mold, or we're going to see huge walls on thby slicer - F1
What.... The.... F---....... People need to stop making ugly cars behind my back. Okay, here's my first gripe about the Lego Noses: Someone actually thought this was a good idea. Now for what? It's certainly the opposite of aerodynamic, you may as well put a brick wall on the nose. I can kinda see the reasoning behind the suspension geometry, but another brilliant way arounby slicer - F1
Expanding on Ferrari2007, I think the colors are actually kind of an homage to the classic Marlboro colors Mclaren had since the late 70's. I like the colors. But I don't know, something is amiss. The car is a little bland, there's nothing too special about it, except maybe it's super streamlined (?) I still gotta get used to these new cars....by slicer - F1
My question is, where do you keep a formula one car? Put your normal car outside of the garage for a while? You really can't do anything with it unless you have a trailer and a nearby road course. Then you would have to find fuel, and good luck with spare parts, because I doubt the average citizen is able to not wreck the car on the outlap, especially when sitting ontop of a V10. It doesn't really even have to be F1. They will consider all kinds of experience with motorsports. Take my example. I live in Southern California, a place you'd think is very far removed from the world of Formula One. Yet not even 10 minutes away from where I live is a manufacturing firm that design and make intake and exhaust valves for almost every major racing series, includingby slicer - F1

I actually quite like the sound. It adds a bit of "muscle" to the sound, in my honest and humble opinion (imh&ho).by slicer - F1

Dan Wheldon was one of my good friend's heroes. My friend was sitting in the stands there at Las Vegas Motor Speedway. He was gutted when he saw his hero die right in front of him. This is stupid. So much could have been avoided. As for ideas for improving safety, I found that after watching the other video (the flip), I think a good idea would be to raise the nose. Well this screws up my Expat shield approach to F1 coverage. Now how is this murikan watch F1 without stupid Speed? My parents are already looking into cutting out TV all together to save money.by slicer - F1
As I am only 18 years of age with no job, I still live with my parents. Everyone else is on the internet almost daily. That eats up bandwidth because the resources are trying to be shared between all the computers (and trust me, we have a lot of them here)by slicer - F1
I was having the same problem. It might be that someone else is trying to use the same bandwidth. And sometimes Javascript just fails to load. Just reload it a bunch of times, next time. Make sure no one else is using bandwidth and make sure to close anything that uses the internet, especially background programs. iPlayer tends to use a ridiculous amount of bandwidth to play its videos.by slicer - F1
I get this error when trying to launch Could not open logfile 'C:\Program Files (x86)\Infogrames\Grand Prix 4\gpxdata\log\gpxupload.txt: No such file or directory It then launches and then immediately crashes. I'm running 64 bit Vista with a decent computer.by slicer - Grand Prix 4
Nuther question. Does BBC also broadcast WRC or Le Mans as well?by slicer - F1
Used the BBC stream. Loved it! Way better than Speed! First off the quality is superb. There is the extra of using headphones so it sounds like I'm actually at the grand prix. And there are absolutely no commercial breaks! I love brits!!! -The Slicererby slicer - F1
