Just a note - I tested Dijon and it works perfectly on GP3 2000 but in 1.13 when I escape from the track to the menu I CTD. I have tried all the usual stuff - different slots, different magic, various compatibility settings and GPxPatch settings and always have the same result. Any ideas fokls?by St.Hubbins - Grand Prix 3
South African Grand Prix – Kyalami Friday Free Practise The first free opractice session at Kyalami passed without incident other than Thierry Boutsen ripping off a front right wheel against the pitwall. Reigning champion Nelson Piquet was in fine form and headed the leader board and Alain Prost edged out the impressive Elio de Angelis for second. The Lotus driver seemed to have the fastest pby St.Hubbins - Grand Prix 3
I will happily give a rebirth to Oxhead Racing if this project gets off the ground. Been away from league racing for so long though that I will need a volunteer teammateby St.Hubbins - Grand Prix 3
Brazilian Grand Prix – Jacarepagua Friday Free Practise The winter break is over and the teams reconvene at the Jacarepagua circuit on the outskirts of Rio. World Champion Nelson Piquet is joined by a new team-mate as Teo Fabi takes over from the Alfa-bound Riccardo Patrese. But Piquet’s Brabham BMW is blown into the dust along with twenty other cars as McLaren roll out their 1984 contenderby St.Hubbins - Grand Prix 3
I am almost ready to finally kick off my 1984 season thanks that Zieli has now made a driveable version of Dijon available to download. After winter testing Jacques Laffite has been dumped by Williams so I will be teaming up with my idol Keke Rosberg, but the Honda engine is nowhere near a match for the TAG, Ferrari, BMW and Renault engines of the front runners so any points, especially on the faby St.Hubbins - Grand Prix 3

Which version of the track? Which game? Which control method? They all make a difference of course. And are you after a qualy or race setup? I have only used Roberto's track with magic I edited myself (I think he then added it to his track) but not sure I ever saved a setup. OTTOMH I would guess a rear wing around 15 is a decent place to start if you are just hotlapping, but I would be teby St.Hubbins - Grand Prix 3

I'll try and write something about when I used to race in leagues, some details are bound to be sketchy as the one of the websites is no longer online Best performance Strange one this as I didn't win the race but it was at Interlagos in my one and only season of time-limited league racing. I had struggled for most of the season with having a dog of a PC and just not driving very wby St.Hubbins - Grand Prix 3
Too many Robs!!! Scandura - I realised my problem is that I am using 2000 and the track points to some Argentina jams. I can solve this by copying them from the 1.13 folder I suppose. Rob8791 - thanks, I forgot about your site. Initial post ammended nowby St.Hubbins - Grand Prix 3
Yeah, I have that. Will download the original again to check I have all the jams.by St.Hubbins - Grand Prix 3
Hope I am not being a pain by bringing this up again, but I am after some tracks as I am trying to build a full 1984 season. Kyalami Dijon Of course I am after any layout that most closely resembles the 1984 season. Also I am searching for Marcos Togni's Nurburgring 2003 as that was the base for abcdefg's '84 version. I appreciate this is a lot to ask for in one go sby St.Hubbins - Grand Prix 3

holemad, does that Istanbul include the jams? If so would you kindly send to me also. I picked up the dat from Drafi's webpage so only need the jams files. Thanks in advanceby St.Hubbins - Grand Prix 3
No players here right now! My only active season finished last night so I managed to beat Enzo's angry tribe by a few hours. I kinda go in and out of the game, play a few seasons together and then forget about it for six months. Really fancied a shot at the Indy 500 today thoughby St.Hubbins - Other Games
It's a weird one this. No doubt that BATRacer is infringing copyright laws but any monies incoming to the BAT team must be so negligible to wonder why Ferrari felt the need to pursue legal action. In effect what Ferrari are doing is alienating motorsport fans from their product, or at the very least giving their own company a name shed in bad light. But from the other side, Ferrari has toby St.Hubbins - Other Games
I don't mean to postpone your retirment Rob, but there is also one further issue that I guess is cc line related: On the exit of Turn 9 (the right after the slow left following the first main straight) the car is pulled violently to the left if you drive with two wheels on the outside kerb. I don't know if this is too much hassle to look at but thought I would mention it anyway ifby St.Hubbins - Grand Prix 3

Okay, the md2 is here: Its still quite a raw version but at least gives more accurate laptimes. One question, is it possible to change the position of the pit lane speed limit? It takes about 36 seconds to make a pitstop because you are on the limiter until just before rejoining the track. This makes it much more viable to make a 1 stop race...by St.Hubbins - Grand Prix 3
Wonder what sort of lap times a modern F1 car would clock around the old Kyalami circuit. 1.02.366 in 1985...by St.Hubbins - F1
Fun track to drive. The sectors were not correct though so I made an estimate: Split 1 - 225 Split 2 - 737 I modded the md for GP32k also with more accurate laptimes, fuel consumption and top speed (cc setup). Can upload if anyone is interested. Thanks Rob for the years of workby St.Hubbins - Grand Prix 3

I like the Campos and Manor cars a lot For me though Lotus needs to be BRG and Gold. I seriously hope they are listening and revive the classic look, none of that crappy 90s scheme. And the Brawn, as soon as I saw it I wondered what made you think Canon should be in black. It's always a red logo! All nicely painted of course, but we have very different ideasby St.Hubbins - Grand Prix 3
vbc, great to hear from you again! I improved my time at Barcelona on 2k to 1, 16.557s. I think there is still a tenth to get if I can be bothered but lately I haven't been playing at all. A bit gutted that hotlaps.de closed the GP3 2000 competition as I have loads of laps that would shoot me up to about 5th or 6th in the rankings.
