Grammar Fail...can you pick it? :-)

There are three potential grammatical errors in that report which make for amusing reading, but none of them are clear-cut. I don't think they're grammatically incorrect, just not clear as to the intended meaning.

P.S. With my posting record on this site today, I can just imagine that I've missed a really blatent error and I will look foolish when it's pointed out to me.

That could be seen as funny, as it looks like the snake was trying to munch the kanga's kid and she jumped on the kid so that the snake wouldn't bite it...

But that's only what I saw.

That's not bad grammar, it's just a poorly thought out sentence structure.

Indeed. Adding a comma anywhere in that sentence would only serve to confuse issues further.

The python quickly retreated to a hole, on the property where the family lives. - This IS bad grammar.

The python quickly retreated, to a hole on the property where the family lives. - Borderline acceptable but no difference in meaning between this and the original sentence.

There is nothing wrong with the original sentence. Like many perfectly acceptable sentences in the English language it can be misconstrued by retards or by people trying to be clever.
