Looks really great for this stage of the pre-season. I think the red and white 80's-90's livery was Marlboro based not Honda!!by bdtj1815 - Grand Prix 4

Thanks for your replies guys. Shame about 2010. The MMG mod was originally for rfactor but was converted. I raced it many times and it was a great mod, stupidly when I gave up on GP4 for a couple of years I did not keep the original download!!by bdtj1815 - Grand Prix 4
I have finally found some time to devote to this great game after a couple of years away. Having a good time installing everything and am really impressed with so many great tracks and mods. One mod I used to have but cannot find now is the MMG 2007 season mod. I also do not seem to be able to find a 2010 CSM mod. Can anyone help please.by bdtj1815 - Grand Prix 4
Thanks for a great looking car. I was wondering though why there are eleven different track specific liveries but only five different ones used in the .ini file. I have noticed this in some of the other mods that I have been installing recently.by bdtj1815 - Grand Prix 4
As per the thread title! The only 2010 CSM mod I have found is very complex with, to my mind some rather strange graphics and driving positions, so am just looking for a simple mod preferably with race specific liveries and drivers. Any help appreciated.by bdtj1815 - Grand Prix 4
None of my mods have working trackpacks! They all worked fine until I copied the track and carsets folders into a new installation of GP4, with exactly the same name as the old one. I have now freshly installed the 2006 mod and trackpack and it is not working! TSM is saying tracks are not loaded but they are in the tracks folder as the log in my previous post shows. I have looked at theby bdtj1815 - Grand Prix 4
Mortal, Thank you for your very helpful reply but I am still having a problem! Have installed the 2006 mod again and trackpack but tsm is still not loading tracks. This is the text of the csm file, it is unedited as installed by CSM: Version =1.25 Name =2006 Carset Icon =%iconpath%\gp06.ico Subset Icon = Title =2006 Preview Back =Data\Files\Info\2006-bg-%trackname%.jpgby bdtj1815 - Grand Prix 4
As the title says really. CSM loads mods fine but is not loading tracks. Has been working fine for sometime but has stopped working since copying the carset and track folders into a new GP4 installation. TSM status is saying "No tracks loaded" Help please, thanks in advance.by bdtj1815 - Grand Prix 4
Have not had time to keep up with what has been happening with GP4 for a couple of years. Now have more free time and have been amazed at the quality of new mods, tracks etc. Have downloaded many mods and tracks, particularly like the 80's ones, but am stuck finding a couple of years I would really like. Am particularly looking for a csm mods for 2007 and 2010 so any help appreciated.by bdtj1815 - Grand Prix 4
And to me as well please. Thanks in advance!by bdtj1815 - Grand Prix 4

Couple of questions: My gaming computer is not connected to the internet, I have no interest in on-line racing. Will this game work without an internet connection? If it does work without an internet connection do you still have to install Steam? If I use digital download on my desktop computer which is connected to the internet, indeed typing this on it, can I then install it on the gaming compuby bdtj1815 - Other Games
I am trying to get team specific steering wheels to work in the F1 2008 GPGMG mod. Which files do I need to edit? I have tried adding what I think is the right text to the 2008globalvars.ini and adding a stwheel.ini file in "Settings". The option to have team specific wheels is showing in CSM but not in game. Obviously missed something. Thanks for any help.by bdtj1815 - Grand Prix 4
QuoteShaddix Adelaide and Surfers Paradise are really nice! Does that mean that an Adelaide version has been released with the pitlane problems solved? Great news if yes the version I have is unraceable, except for quickraces, as the AI cannot pit.by bdtj1815 - Grand Prix 4
I was thinking of asking a question about the 95 mod so as it is being discussed in this thread thought I would do so here. I am finding it difficult to see how to change tyres/fuel load in practice or qualifying sessions, unlike the 91 or 94 mods there is no text on the screen, and similarly in races there seems to be no way to change tyre type or strategy during pitstops. Am I missing somethby bdtj1815 - Grand Prix 4
Really excellent upgrade. I was only thinking last night that there were very few decent carsavailable for 2002.by bdtj1815 - Grand Prix 4
Hi I have a G25 and it works fine with GP4. It cam be a bit tricky to set up a controller in the game but there is a useful guide in the FAQ thead. If you think it might help I could send you my saved controller setup which might help as you could just load that and use it as a basis if you prefer different buttons for the different functions.by bdtj1815 - Grand Prix 4
Cyberacer, thanks for that advice but I control the games graphics using the cfg file. Is there a particular setting in the the cfg that controls what you are sugesting?by bdtj1815 - Grand Prix 4
I have a strange problem, I can no longer see the various extra goodies, such as wheelguns, fuel tanks, pitcables etc., that are part of many of the newer tracks. With the 2001 trackpack at certain tracks, Interlagos and Montreal particularly, some of the pitstand textures are invisible as well. Have tried searching the forum but cannot find any reference to this problem. Help please, thankby bdtj1815 - Grand Prix 4

Some time ago I tried to simulate races with no pit stops. Although Roberto is right about editing the magic data, although I think it is better to make the first pit stop at the race length plus one, there are some problems. 1. The cc cars can find it very difficult, especially at certain tracks, to race with 70, 80 or even 90 laps worth of fuel. 2. Whilst tyre wear does not effect the ccby bdtj1815 - Grand Prix 3
Excellent version of the McLaren. Must be very difficult to do the chrome effect. I was wondering if you were considering doing race specific liveries, France and Turkey are the most obvious. I am sure would be greatly appreciated, especially by GP2000 players. Looking forward to your future cars.by bdtj1815 - Grand Prix 3
The one major track used for many years in Formula One and not available in a usuable form, that I know of, is Mosport. The only version I have ever seen is an old beta version with no scenery etc. The circuit hosted the Canadian GP eight times between 1967 and 1977. If anyone is interested in making Mosport, or knows of another version, I would be most interested as I think it is the only trackby bdtj1815 - Grand Prix 3
