Richard Burns Rally (Demo) Issue on Windows 7

Every time I try to start the demo it crashes and I get this message:



I've tried starting the demo with all compatibility settings, as an administrator, and I've installed DirectX End-User Runtime.

Any ideas?

The full game works fine, so I'd imagine one of the 2 patches fixed this issue... presumably the demo doesn't have those patches.
