Grand Prix... 2

Since I don't have Gp2 in my computer, I am curious what the Birmingham Superprix circuit looks like in GP2?

I am just wondering what it was like.

There were 2 versions... I can't remember who did either I'm afraid, but one of them was absolute class - got the circuit layout right, down to the last zebra crossing and bump in the road.

those were the days :D... i lost many friends because of that came, but i wouldnt chance anything. now days i ruin my life with GP4 :P. i remember some fictional seasons that i runned in gp2, as far as i remember i was on season 2009 when i bought gp4 in 2002 :D

I just got myself Grand Prix 2 as I'm in the mood for retro F1 Games

How do I install custom cars, carsets or tracks and can you get all AI Racing on GP2 Or is it just GP3 And GP4.

Hey I recently re-installed GP2 but the sond doesnt work properly, it cuts in and out evry second and is behind what happens on the track. Has anyone else had this problem?

EDIT got to playing the game and VDMS hasnt actually installed with the game properly, I went through the steps again and did them properly but when I try to use VDMS to change my soundcard the window just says "loading vddloader.dll".
Anyone else had this problem?

just do it the same way you do it in gp3 and gp4.

deselect all player drivers

And Installing custom stuff?

Download GP2Edit. There are loads of carsets for it. It's the same principle as GP3Edit basically.

Problems with Velociade ?

Try the programm "slowdown" [www.pctipp.ch]

Start slowdown before you start GP2.
It must run in the background during you play GP2

With a new fast PC you can play GP2 with "dosbox". (version 0.70)

Is there anything special I have to do or just run it in the background? I have moved it down to half speed and nothing has changed :s

The track is layed out correctly but the background is mucked up. I have converted Jad's to Jams and repalced the original file with the new track file. the background is grey with no track or grass/gravel colours

Why do you want to use Velociade or slowdown ?
Runs the game to fast ?
Slowdown must run in the backgroud. Try different settings (fast/slow).
It's still to fast ?
You can start Slowdown several times. Several slowdown's at the same time in the background.

The jams are in the correct directory: \gp2\gamejams\sepa02\ ?
