gee gp2 was a good game for its time, if u think back to that 95 the best f1 game around was probably nigel mansells snes one, so that y in those reviews they say it was the best game and it is almost photo realistic

Hey guys,

GP2 was my first video game ever. 1995 I think I purchased it. I drove with a joy stick no aids for the longest time. I never changed anything within the game (Tracks, Carsets, etc...). Now in reading this thread you all have made me nostalgic. I have GP2 running just fine on win XPpro. No mean feat apparently. I d/l'd Ultima to install and see just how good the old girl can look. Unfortunatly I can't convert the JADs to JAMs. Every time I try I get an error message "The file system is not suitable for running MS-DOS and Microsoft Windows applications".

Whatever is a poor boy to do?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you,

FraPP!!!

I can convert the JADs to JAMs on win XPpro.
There is the error message :Befehl oder Dateiname nicht gefunden
(Babel Fish-Translated : Instruction or file name not found)
but then the program continues working and convert the JADs.

gp2 was a great game u could really feel when the tyres were going off and stuff. Thought it was miles better than gp3 which i never liked.
