would you guys pay roughly 340 GBP for an XBOX360?

apparantly thats how much it would cost me to get one now if i pre order it, and get the VIP pack which has the game and extra controllers and a few other things.

340 quid? Is that the pack with wireless controllers, hard drive and Live! membership thrown in? They're supposed to be 279 really, iirc.

no because *SHOCK HORROR* its not online

i actualy went down to the store

it has i belive

the extra controller, HDD, ethernet cable, headphones, Project Dark Zero and a "limited edition new face plate" iirc.

Hmmm, is that just a Core pack upgraded to Premium? for instance do you get the HD Component cable, are the controllers wireless? if you answered yes to those two, then thats a pretty good deal! Premium console is £280, + £40 game + another controller which would cost another £30... £10 saving hehe If its a core pack so what! If it has everything that Premium has theres no difference, just a green box instead of a white one :D

It's impressive, but it doesn't make me want a PS3, probably because I don't really like the Metal gear Solid series.

I'm not gonna believe any footage of the ps3 until its out (not actually watched that video) Sony are legendary in talking and showing utter bollocks before the launch of their consoles, the new gen of consoles wont deliver what they were promising with the ps2.

To be fair, Hideo Kojima has come out to say that can be done on the PS3, can be done equally as good on the Xbox 360.

ill wander down the shop today, (well i shouldnt... its payday today heh) and find out

okay went down the shop.

for AUD$649.95(277.401 GBP) i get the Premium package which has as follows

Console with premium chrome finish (chrome instead of white??)

Wireless Controller

then for an extra AUD$149.95 (63.7029GBP) i get

Wireless Controller
Perfect Dark Zero

AUD$649.95 + AUD$149.95 = AUD$799.90


799.90 AUD = 341.888 GBP

That's quite a good deal, but I would see if you can get PGR3 instead of PDZ.

Yeah go for it good deal, and PDZ is pretty good IMO, not as good as Call of duty by any means but not bad.

Well, i got one on release and as expected its not that good... But i suppose i knew this as we had the machine and all games about 3 weeks before launch. Luckily i found someone stupid enough to pay over twice as much as what i did. So i more than doubled my money for playing the machine for a week.
