Don't want to accuse you , but I heard somewhere that happens with a cracked game...

if you aren't playing with a crack then I don't know ... it never happened to me

Sorry to post such a banal question, but could someone give me some indication of
how RFactor would run on my computer :

Athlon 64 3400 (2.2ghz)
1gb RAM
Radeon 9800 (256mb

Am drooling at your screenies, but would like to know what perf I'm going to get before
I shell out the £30 !!!!!

Thanks in advance, much appreciated.

Steve.

I think it would run quite well. I think the 9800 would limit the performance a bit though. You could download the demo just to see how that runs?

Thinking of starting to create cars for rFactor then? ;-)

/starts mass rumour mill ;)

Hehe, never say never Marc!

Where would I get the demo? Looked on the site - but nothing there.
They say they don't support the original either.

Thanks again!

Hey it runs on mine (albeit, shitly) so you should get away with it no problems considering I'm still running a PCI gfx card ;)

I am running it on medium details (full for track) @ 1024x768, with 30 cars visible, and my system is Barton 2500+ (OC to 2000Mhz), 512 megs of ram and a Radeon 9700 pro. You'll do just fine!

Thanks for feedback all!

Installed Demo (multiplayer) and it played fine with 16 cars and 1280 x 1024 x 32.
What is improved in the latest (final) version?

Thanks.
Steve.

Everything. The demo was a very early stage of the game.

MX440, it's painfully slow at everything :P And my motherboard is 5 years old so there is no point in looking at an upgrade since it needs a complete overhaul

Just re-installed it :)

Thanks for Morbid for providing that link that has EVERYTHING :) Really helped.

The main reason for me not installing earlier was because of all the @#$%& I would have to trail through to find a good mod ;)

Has anyone got EMG's Spa?

The AI is poor, but the track is ok.

Several times, I have come from the back of the grid... whereas on the same difficultly level I struggle to do the same at Bahrain lol.
