well, it's a DX8 card. doesn't have any DX9 hardwareness, like all of the GF4 series iirc.

from what ive seen the fps forefit u get with dx9 isnt worth it compared with 8, nothing to be worried/annoyed about imo! :D

and besides unless u can run dx9 and make it look good, there is no point imo.

DX9 looks awesome if your card can run it. If it cant run it then its gona look like DX8 largly, with a massive FPS drop.

My card runs DX9 happyily.

I suppose it will be some sort of endurance race, would be nice to gather some of us to run a GPG car if it's the case, just for fun (maybe a GPG#2 for the guys who really think they'll win)

Pretty damn amazing if you have the pc to make it look like that.

my card is meant to run dx9 but as i said its just to slow but i think that could be the pc tbh i might try new graphic card drivers later

But on MP I use Dx7 because of top FPS, but it looks bad, for replays and shots and all I use Dx8 but well, if Dx9 can't run that great afterall I think it's no problem.

This Pc was a new one in 2003, but damn it goes fast Gotta have some extra RAM memory though, 512 atm luckily I have 1 slot over for 512 Mb, or is it possible to get 1024 Mb in one slot? ... Makes it 1536 ..

And when time passes by, I will buy a new card, no idea what to buy though

Well the AI line through the GP circuit is a bit off. The tyre stacks on the inside of the chicane towards the end of the GP circuit move too easy, and when they bounce they fly off into hyperspace never to be seen again. Headlights beams sink into the tarmac slightly, causing flashing (NEEDS to be fixed before big endurance races use this), missing *THE* tree at the carussel.

Sounds like alot but its not tbh. Easily useable and very good whilst doing it.

apparently DX8 can give twice the performance over DX9.

I'd like to know where they got that new shape 3 series BMW shown in the pic on the main page?

Is there a BMW mod with that in it or it must be custom to them?
