On Thursday night, I bought the full version of Rfactor after a while of thinking of buying it or not. Ive had mthe game for 2 days now and while I am enjoying some of the tracks that I have been able to race on and find.

There is one thing that I really cant stand about this program is the lack of websites that I can find downloads for tracks and so forth. I know about the rfactorcentral website and while that has alot of tracks and mods. You can only download a certain amount of stuff everyday and everything that is available isnt there. Yesterday, I was downloading the Long Beach 79 track from that site and the download stopped at 60%, Because my daily limit was up. I was not happy.

Then yesterday, I found a website I believe called "Rftracker" and it had a whole bunch of tracks and mods. I signed up, But I never got a activation code from them, So I couldnt get access to any of the downloads.

I want to know some websites that have some tracks, Because it is getting annoying that I just bought this game and I cant find any tracks for the program.

Anybody have any websites that have a good amount of tracks available? Thanks.

rFactorcentral and rTracker are the main sites.

rTracker is based on torrents, and pretty well maintained. If you didn't get an activation email from them, you either mistyped your email, or it is caught in a spam-filter. Do notify the site admin and get the situation fixed.

rFactorcentral is limited on bandwidth, but if you look at the links the site provides, most are to off-site hosting, and thus NOT limited on bandwidth. Investigate and you will see this is true.

I use these 2 sites, and I very very rarely cannot get the stuff I want. Keep pushing and get into the groove of things.

Links with a little R are rFactorCentral hosted. Links without it are external. You do the maths.

Also regarding rfcentral - there's no limit on downloads if you donate to the site. I donated £5 and don't regret it

I have FSONE 2006 installed but I would like to have cameras like in CTDP mod. How can I change it or where is camera file placed?

I presume you mean the 1.250 installer is saying it cannot find the 1.150 game?

Ah yes. Some patches do seem to want to be run in the folder of the program they are updating for some dumb reason.

Not sure where to post this, but I found it funny that the other day I was playing the GTR2 converted FIA GT Champ mod on a GT Legends converted track, Hockenhiem all on rFactor.

That GT Mod is quite nice. But then like in GTR as soon as the leaders come upto backmarkers they have no clue what to do :p

Guys, Ive been updating some tracks and a Bi-turbo mod.. but now I cant get RF started..

It starts , shows intro .. and then after the intro it stoll.. Just A black screen. I can move my Mouse cursor tho..

Anybody knows something on this ?

Try deleting each thing and try to see if it works then. You should find the problem eventually

yeah I found it.. It was the bi-turbo mod.. It doesnt work..
So I managed changing the starting mod in Dedicated server... Works fine now
