theyre not so much a problem in the SR series, but in the OW series they really stand out badly :( fortunately its something that can be easily modded.

You said it Matt, I have a helmet obsession :P. When I was 9, I always wanted to get a helmet, especially like Senna's! And I was just annoyed at F1C helmets... and it carried over to rFactor:).
