If a turtle loses its shell it's dead. "Nudity" and "homelessness" are anthropomorphistic concept and do not apply to a turtle that has been fatally maimed.
Who says nothing sticks to teflon? If you apply enough heat things sure will stick. Teflon, for example gets "baked" at very high temperature, in fact you'll never get this kind of heat with your own oven at home. It's a bit like making enamel.
