I'm not really that good at this stuff, so could some 'in fashion' forumer help me out. I need some new casual shoes/trainers. Not chavvy. Was thinking along the lines of Lacoste, but they're super expensive.

So, anyone got reccomendations for sub £40 known brand trainers/shoes?

Thanks!

PS: I'm not currently in fashion, trying to get into it ;)

be wary of fashion.

i bought some trendy puma speedcats when they came out. looks ages for the many variation styles i wanted.

it was only in rome that i got asked and told they were, infact, ladies athletic running ones that i had been proudly wearing ALL YEAR!

lol!

K-Swiss are hardly "chavvy". They aren't Kappa or Patrick. You shouldn't also wear clothes just beacuse they are "in-fashion" currently. You should wear what you want, not what other people wear.

Yeh K-Swiss arent chavvy and if you care that much about it why not by something unbranded?

Just buy some trainers that don't give you blisters and you'll be fine.

Get yourself some Converse All-Stars. Plenty of colour choices, and if you pay more than £35 you've been unlucky.

If you want to do sports, buy sports trainers. If you don't want to do sports, don't.

There's not really a great deal more to write about trainers. If you want to keep up with 'fashion' then be prepared to wear some pretty shocking stuff that you may think looks dumb on you.
