my grandpa told me on weekend:

the africa corp had captured one of hiters adapted beetles (used in their army)
and the vehicle was brought back to england by REME and shown to the Roots group (car manufacturer back then) for analysis etc

they concluded it was utterly useless and impracticle to have a aircooled engine etc

I don't know why I like it. It isn't beatiful, and it'll probably fall in to pieces after few years of use, but I still love it and hope that I can one day afford to get one. I don't think it could be described as beatiful, as I said before, but still I think it looks great. It has some unique rudeness in it's looks, and thats why I like it.

i have degree- but not that i need it for my job at present.

they not hiring im afraid. have everyone they need i believe

so was your degree not beneficial to you getting the job at all?

was it just right place, right time and you got lucky? did you need to have any experience or could you go in a complete novice, and they'd train you up?

well i came from uni so had no real experience

you do get trained up to a certain extent.

maybe my degree helped - but im banking on using that as an internal vacancy job higher up one day
