Altho, it was documented that the new one (not the old one, that falls to bits with a bit of wind) can take an amazing ammount of abuse. I woukdnt say it was badly built (as it seems to last forever), more poorly and cheaply designed.

Stop spoiling my fun ;)

I bought this off Muks a few months back.

;-)

After thinking about it, my fave would be:

And they really do look better in the flesh. And appear to drive better than they look. And sound better than they drive.

And I wouldn't mind one of those love or hate cars either. Good old wood:

I don't have a favorite roadcar.

I'm a big fan of Dodge Viper and Mercedes SLK Roadster.

But living in Brazil I don't see myself having any highspec car like Mercedez, Subaru, Audi, BMW and others. Althought my neighbors have cars like those (my next door neighbor have a Mercedes CLK and another guy in my street had a BMW 350i) I don't think our country is a country to have those cars.

I have a Chevrolet Astra and my father a Toyota Corolla. He could have a more expensive car, but it would call to much attention. If we live in Europe or US he should have a better car, but Toyota Corolla is a great car with confortable things like the auto gears that fit what he wants in a car.

hey, no-one said anything about how classy the cars should be ;).

i'm a broad church when it comes to cars, i like the stupidly fast supercars as well as the Chavtastic boy-racer-mobiles :)

out of all of them, the Cosworth is the only one that i could reasonably expect to afford in my lifetime, but since cost isn't a factor in the criteria for this thread, it doesn't matter. it could be an everyday car, and the rest would be in the garage for special days only.

not really a fan of the Carrera GT, but like the Ferrari 550/575's.

Don't say that is all you can afford in your lifetime! Surely you are better than that. Everyone one of us here can buy these cars as long as you are prepared to work for it.

yeah but realistically, unless you win the lottery, you're looking at cars with a max value of around 30K, and i wouldn't be too quick to spend that much on a new car unless i was seriously loaded.

Cossie's are around the 13-18K mark, so that is realistically affordable with a half-decent job.

we're not all gonna become managers with 50K+ salaries who can afford the top BMW's and Mercs.

Car thread but whats dreams without makimg them come true?

Forget working for someone, start your own business. As a manager you say, you might earn 50k+pounds (120+Aus I'm guessing). If your good enough you will earn more. You have to have believe youre better than average.

My dream car would be a Ferrari 250 GTO, but since there was only about 40 ever made, that ain't happening anytime soon!

Also think Ferrari Daytonas were sexual, don't like the more recent Ferraris as much, the 512 would be my fave.

Dodge Challenger, would be near the top of the list ever since i saw The Vanishing Point

Chevrolet Corvette Stingray (later models, without that weird rear)

Lamborghini Miura. Yes i know it was meant to be a bollocks to drive, but i could get over it

They've really buggered the Astons in recent years, but the AM Le Mans Vantage would do me nicely!

Realistically speaking though, i'm thinkin Lotus Esprit :)

There was one of them in the gumball rally! Clutch gave up twice, till they replaced it with a VW clutch (!!!) and then it carried on fine lol

What you also have to remember is the massive depreciation also

ESSENTIAL OILS aren't essential unless you're an engine, a gearbox or a twat
