Random photoness... (56k Warning & OWN PHOTOS ONLY)

Was at the Chatsworth Rally Show yesterday, First time i've been to a rally event, had a great day, came back rather burnt. There was a lot of cars on display from the 60's 70's 80's and 90's. Used my 100-400 and a 350D, only got my 30D today

Well the blackpool/old trafford ones are from a random roadtrip and the ones in my car, I took on my break at work so my phones all I had. Plus, my S5000 didnt come back from le mans But Ill be buying a DSLR in the next few weeks

I love how well the sky's been brought out in them. It's very easy to over-expose it in such moody pictures. A circular polariser would have given some nice depth to the water in a couple of the pics, but as critism goes, that's about as light as you'll get. Excellent stuff.

I shot our school prom on Friday, which went a hell of a lot better than last years (I actually had a lighting set up this time rather than just an individual flash), so I might post some pics from it next week (Dell 2408WFP has such a wide colour gamut it's hard to photoshop them without seeing how it will come out on paper, so I've not bothered yet).

Thanks for detailed feedback Gav. I have actually used circular polarizer in most of the pics, but I have used it to bring out the colors in the sky rather than removing reflections from water. But I see your point of view, some pictures would definately look better with less reflections on water.

That's somewhere in Lofoten islands in northern Norway. Those islands had the most beatiful scenery I think I have ever seen, it was just breathtaking, there's no other word for it.
