I always get rid of the boxes too and put them under plastic display covers (I dont buy many models you see, but I used to leave them out before I bought covers). I just think the cardboard boxes makes them look a bit naff, and they often get damaged in the post anyway.

you don't have to keep them in the boxes, but you could just keep the boxes in the loft or something.

i regret throwing some of the boxes away from when i was younger.

the 1:43 Mattel ones are the worst (not that I own any), theres about 1cm thick cardboard around the perspex box.

lol! yer i agree the boxes do look naff, but some like the early 90s onyx cars had team patterned boxes, i like them (luckily the ones i have a in top nic, even smell new and NOT of old people!!! :D)

i like those 2-car Jordan sets, i only have the 97/98 car set though.

i also would have liked that Gene Williams '03 Monza gp, but i shot my load too early and bought the JPM version before the Gene version came out, and it doesn't have the Bud logos on it :(.

There might have been the odd model but I only started end of last year so I don't have a clue :P Most of the older cars seem to sell quicker than newer models. Probaly collectors trying to snatch up the last we can get ;)
