A very bad one, but yes indeed.

Hamilton 1st win model looks very good.

Saw a Hamilton model in the local modelcar/train/plane-shop around the corner for only 40,00 euro's (scale 1:18) btw! Couldn't determine the brand, but when I compared it to the twice as expensive Minichamps model, it was quite bad at details and stickering. However 40,00 is not expensive.

Its hotwheels, and its horrible, dont ever buy it :P!

Its not a nice hamilton first win, wheres that time that minichamps used to do something special with a first win? Like with kimis, a standing figure which did look good, now its just nothing more then a plain car, with some other aero ><

1 of my 1:43 Hamilton 1st win models came on saturday, the other 5 came today:

why they couldn't just send me a full box of 6 i don't know.

and a couple of comparison pics of the 1st win and Melbourne models:

obviously the front wings are different, so are the rear wings, but apart from a very slight difference in the small aero device just in front of the rear wheels, they look identical.

am expecting the 1:18 version to arrive in the next few days, my first ever 1:18 Minichamps model. and i agree, shame they didn't have a driver figure with it, would have looked so much better than the awfully bad Mattel version.

Well, the real McLaren wasn't special too, because they didn't know before he was going to win, did they? What did you expect then? A car with "Congrats Hammi!" or "1st of 200 victories!" ;)

with special we mean something like a standing figure, or a fist in the air, something not normally.

1:18 1st Win arrived today:

it's very nice but not worth more than a standard 1:18 Minichamps model really. for £55 they could have thrown in a driver figure or a nice engraved plaque on the base.

at least the quality is very high and doesn't feel or look like a toy, as Mattel 1:18 models do. that's what you call a reflective chrome-effect finish!

the box doesn't have any stickers holding it closed, so it can be opened and the put back in again without having to cut anything, which is nice.

Was in Maranello a couple weeks ago, after the Italian GP, and saw some nice conversions in a store there. Just 5 mins away from Ferrari's factory actually :)

I should well imagine there will be a Kubica 1st pole and win, a Kovy one and a Vettel won.

i've got 2 in my house ;)

and i'd buy the Vettel/Kubica 1st win models, also the Singapore winner's model if they make it. hope they do something special with all of them though, and not just give the same car with some different writing on the base and call it a limited edition.
