I would do an edition of le magasin, but I a) have no idea who the candidates are for the seat and b) haven't got the time.

At least I know who it WON'T be...:-)

So we got a similar case as McLaren following Hakkinen's retirement... we'll have to see who is our Raikkonen ;-)

If we could, we would LOL

I want to make it clear that I would never poach a driver from another team. I would hate it if it happened to me, so there is no way I'm gonna do it!

Well I certainly know what I'd like the outcome of all these driver changes to be... Will be interesting to see what the actual outcome will be.

Demon Racing Announcement....

Demon Racing wish to announce the following press release to the GPGSL world:
We at Demon were planning to parade our driver lineup to the press over the next race weekend at Hungaroring, but it appears a copy of our press release may have made it's way out of Demon HQ into the hands of some grubby journo's!

So, without further delay, Demon Racing announce their full driving roster for Season 8 in the GPGSL
Our race drivers will be :

Jake Legge
Zsigimond Somogyi

And in the test seats,
Glen Sheppard
Sebastian Nell

We at Demon Racing are thrilled to elevate Jake Legge from the Test Series, where he has performed really well this current season. We see lots of potential and a bright future for Jake.
Alongside Jake, we have series veteran, and proven performer Zsigimond Somogyi, who many would know has starred in the test series and the race series over the years. He brings great experience to our team, and should be able to provide valuable tuition to Legge.
And in our test cars, Team Owner Sheppard steps in for his season drive, and welcomes newly unemployed-due-to Scala winding up operations, Sebastian Nell. Sebastian shows great enthusiasm and talent in the car, and we are thrilled to have him in the team.

All drivers have been at the Demon HQ, and seen the proposed livery, and are very excited with what they have been shown. An official unveiling is scheduled to take place at the conclusion of Season 7.....

GPGSL Team Owner Debut - Melbourne, Season 8 - present
GPGSL Test Debut - Hungary, Season 4. GPGSL Race Debut - Adelaide, Season 5.

Watch out, anyone with the name Sebastian is automatically a good driver. :)

eh lol, since when does my name give me driving abilities? :-p
Good to know, fear me (desperately searches for devil-smiley; doesn't find one) (H)(H)(H)(H)(H)(H)

and now the other part of my post:

Press statement Sebastian Nell

"I'm happy to stay in the GPGSL, with Scala retiring. Glen Sheppard asked me soon after the official announcement of Scala, and of course i had to say yes. Recently i got my first points, and i hope to get this done with Demon Racing.
On the other side it's sad to see Scala go. Thank you guys, for giving me the possibility to get into this series. I'll keep you in mind."
wowzers, there are lots of changes going on for next season? It is usually this crazy?
No big comment on the race, my appologies to my teammate.. The pressure was high and the car just wasnt what I expected.. Lets move on to the next race ;)

And I wouldnt want to see a Super-Ed Clone, that would make AMR even stronger :P Winning all races

Race starts: 141 | Points: 886 | Podiums: 35 | Race wins: 10

Every ten days, the whole members list will be checked for activity. If a member of GPGSL has not been active for a significant time (ten days or more), a warning will be issued. Both team bosses and drivers will be checked for inactivity. All warnings will be erased after the season ends.

This means that perfs point deductions will be erased at the end of the season as all warnings are erased. So you will still have a good perf!
If there's a drive available for next season, please shoot me a PM!

Cheers,
G

I think your not right. As I understand it the warnings will be erased, so in the new season you will start again at Warning 1 if your inactive. But you wont get your deductions back..

Adam is right. The deductions will be erased, too. They only count for the remaining season and will be erased again for the next one.

GPGSL : Team Owner of 'Maverick Track Performance' (MTP)
I said to Stu I would stay on if he couldn´t find a suitable replacement although I´d rather let a newer driver get a racing chance. I´m more than happy to just test

Short answer yes, long answer it's sometimes even more crazy, we've had court cases ;)

I'm glad that our team's been announced now. I definitely think that Glen's brought in the right drivers for a strong first season, we've got a strong looking team. Also looking forward to working with Zsigmond and Sebastian because they're a pair of immensely talented drivers.

Now I need to see the season out on a high note, so I can set myself up in the best possible way for S8 and feel confident that I've done the best job I can for ART.
