Race Day - Part One

Welcome back to ever sunny Brazil and the Interlagos circuit. Ed Greenhalgh leads the grid in pole position, but it's the man, second on the grid, that the local fans are cheering for, Rodrigo Vilela!

Hunsley needs binoculars to see the front of the grid.

And we are off!

Neck and neck through the Senna S.

The crowd goes wild as Vilela edges out Greenhalgh.

Maverick takes advantage of a stunned Greenhalgh.

The crowd on the main straight see Vilela leading and the cheers drown out the sound of the engines.

Vilela takes fastest lap.

Hunsley locks up behind Karjalainen.

Standings after lap one and Greenhalgh has retaken 2nd and Jalving has dropped to 6th.

Jalving runs wide.

And is collected by Rodríguez.

Thats the end of the race for Jalving.

And thats an early trip to the pits for Rodríguez.

Vilela takes fastest lap yet again.

Aleksander pulls out to take Maverick who has already lost a position to Warrington.

Three abreast at the back. Karjalainen, Thomas and Edwards.

Greenhalgh soon beats that time however.

And its the Englishman who is the fastest man out there.

Kittleson takes Hinz for 14th.

Race Day - Part Two

Thomas, having taken Hinz attempts to take Edwards. Karjalainen looks to pass Hinz.

39 laps to go.

Vilela is spending a lot of time looking in his mirrors at the moment.

Hinz looks to be going backwards, his team mate Hunsley is the next to pass him.

On the back straight and Warrington takes Vilela for 2nd.

Elleker vs Horváth.

Kittleson takes advantage of Elleker fighting with Horváth.

But fails.

Aleksanders turn to pass Vilela.

Kittleson tries again.

Aleksander now catching Warrington.

This looks close.

Warrington holds on.

34 laps to the flag.

2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th.

Somogyi seems to have a much better setup than Silvestre.

The Elleker/Kittleson battle still rages on.

Greenhalgh still pulling out a gap from Warrington.

Aleksander takes to the pits.

Warrington seems to be able to hold the gap to Greenhalgh now.

Elleker takes Johnson.

So does Kittleson.

Warrington in the pits.

Vilela also pitted on that lap.

Stay tuned for part three.

Sure, Ed will have a benefit for at least another season, but it will bring the field closer together, + with an earlier drivers cap i think we can stop the domination in quite a short term ;)

"If in doubt, Flat out."

Race Day - Part Three

Maverick still leads.

Kittleson puts Johnson under pressure

Johnson immediately retakes 13th place.

Maverick pits just when it was getting suspiciously like a one stop race.

Greenhalgh retakes the lead and sets fastest lap in the process.

Greenhalgh takes fastest lap again as he tries to put a sizeable gap between him and Warrington.

Aleksander still in 3rd, but Maverick is closing in fast.

Warrington seems comfortable in 2nd.

Maverick takes 3rd from Aleksander.

Can Maverick now challenge the two AMR's in the laps remaining?

Johnson seems to be having a bad time out there.

Sheppard tries and fails to take 16th back from Thomas.

Vilela locks up going into turn 1.

Elleker in 11th and in the points, perhaps that will make the Christel management happy.

Somogyi runs wide, but survives.

Greenhalgh is in another league yet again as he powers away from his team mate.

Second round of pitstops begin.

Maverick has closed on Warrington by nearly a third of a second in the middle sector.

Vilela makes his 2nd pitstop.

Sheppard currently in 11th.

Race Day - Part Four

Warrington makes for the pitlane.

Aleksander does too, but wait! Where's Maverick?

He's there in 3rd, Aleksander has passed him unseen by the GPGTV.org/farked cameras!

Looks like Maverick is going to lose 4th to Vilela too.

And indeed he does!

Greenhalgh with another fastest lap.

The Brazilian crowd give an audible groan as Maverick passes the local hero for 4th.

10 laps to go.

Warrington surprises everyone expecting Greenhalgh to take the bonus point for fastest lap.

Hinz flat spots his tyres.

Warrington is catching Greenhalgh ever so slightly, not enough laps left though. Or is there?

Johnson's struggles continue.

5 laps to go.

Horváth looking to pass Somogyi for 9th.

Elleker springs a surprise on Somogyi as he loses 2 places in quick succession.

The gap between 1st and 2nd seems to have stabilised.

Which of course means this is the last lap.

Ed Greenhalgh wins the Brazilian Grand Prix!

John Warrington is 2nd.

Marko Aleksander 3rd.

John Maverick 4th.

YES YES! 6th!! FINALLY scoring some points again!!! =)
thank you thank you! =)

great drive from Jack to get 10th!
AMR were nothing short of dominant here...

We were missing some luck, Rod lost some places from 2nd and Carlos' race was ruined early on...

Damn Aston Martin were dominant here

Have to say I'm gutted for Charrel, but at least John picked up some more useful points for himself and the team.

Still I'd say 2nd in the Constructors Championship is now really slipping away

I should have brought in my team, with the base perf I would have known, at least, why it's only going backwards again and again. 4th is okay, of course, but in the first and the last stint there was again a lack of speed. Only my middle stint was brilliant. Starting from P3, I had hoped for a podium, at least.
