Apologies for my lack of activity, didn't even realise I hadn't been active since end of Feb, not good. Been very busy but no excuse.

If you need any advice on pushchairs or car seats, Glen, give us a shout, it's what I do for a living!

Unless I'm very much mistaken... I am very much mistaken!
Thanks for all the well-wishers! I am currently less than 12hrs away from walking out the door to go to the GP, sitting in the grandstand at the very last corner! Only my wife potentially going into labour can stop me!!! Fingers crossed! LOL!

I'll respond in a sec. :)

First of all, big congratulations to Glenn! Hope everything goes smoothly!

Second, happy to still be lying third in the Tester's Championship, although I think I'm going to need a return to form in Belgium. Can't let that pesky MPR get too far in front! Or Tobias for that matter! ;-)

I received the save file of the Zandvoort qualifying session and this was the result of the race:

The race was run in Director's Cut modus without any interference from myself. The magic data was the same as for the last seasons race at Zandvoort. Greenhalgh and Warrington pitted still at the same time, but that is a known common bug in GP4 and has absolutely nothing to do with the Zandvoort track.

Due the fact that the AI errors was being changed between qualifying and race and interference from Connor in the race (changing camera's and presumably rewinding stuff) the result of the race was very different.

I admit I'm being a bit chauvinistic, but Zandvoort is being flamed by you with false arguments. Zandvoort should stay at the calendar, because the track provides a lot of good action and maybe a little bit of bad action which is more related to the game itself.

My Grand Prix 4 Files

I'm a total dick. How many people can say that?
Why am I flaming the track with false arguments when I state that there was a lot of trouble this time again, and not for the first time - which is simply a fact!? And it's also a fact that double-pits occur very rarely in this series - check the other coverages and you'll also come to this conclusion - while it happens accumulated at Zandvoort - your check is another prove for that as it happened in your test as well although there was a totally different result.

So it might be that I flame the track, yes, but definitely not with false arguments. My only intention is the GPGSL board to think about whether it's useful to have a track in the calender which produces a lot of trouble again and again...and say what you want but you only have to check the S5 and S6 thread and you'll find a lot of discussion over this track there as well, as it never ran smoothly.

GPGSL : Team Owner of 'Maverick Track Performance' (MTP)
Get your facts right mate. Zandvoort was in season 3 for the first time on the calendar. After the trouble in the season 4 race, Zandvoort was replaced by Assen in season 5. Zandvoort was in season 6 back on the calendar when I adjusted the cc-line and magic data. I even ran the race myself without trouble. That double pitting happened also before at Hockenheim in season 5, this proves that it is not necessary track related. What about the problem that the second driver of the first team only makes one stop? This occurred on many tracks, maybe we should ban those tracks as well despite it's also related to the game itself.

My Grand Prix 4 Files

I'm a total dick. How many people can say that?
looking forward to spa, always great to race at such a classic track.

on zandvoort: my own experience is, that two cars pitting at the same time or cars doing too many or to less pitstops is not track related. i experienced it randomly on a lot of different tracks and i never found an explanation for this behaviour.
