GPGSL S7 [SEASON COMPLETED!!!] Rule Changes Announced For S8.

I love the high attrition, it seems so very 1990's...

Jenson drives it like he owns it; Lewis drives it like he stole it
Same as always, I get in a good position then something happens :(
I'm looking a lot better, hope to gain some more places

I suspect something was wrong with Carlos's car, judging from the handling. Lets hope Rodrigo's car is okay and that he can bring home some points for us.

Back from 12th to 8th at the second pit stop. Why couldn't the first stop work this well either? This won't be a good weekend for me and I'll definitely lose positions in the WDC if not a middle-class miracle happens. Also it's a pity to see that Charrel couldn't hold P1 either. AMR's really too strong again this weekend.

Race Day - Part 3

Ta da! Not so long this time eh? :)

Lets get back to the track.

Greenhalgh still leads the race for Aston Martin.

Jalving 2nd.

Warrington in 3rd seems to be pulling away from Greidanus and Horváth.

Greenhalgh heads for the pits for a 3rd time, this time its a scheduled stop.

Jalving follows suit.

The MPR crew get to work on Jalvings car as Greenhalgh leaves the AMR crew.

Sheppard moves up to 2nd after many stoppers. Warrington leads.

Greenhalgh now 3rd.

Jalving 4th, Maverick yet to stop in 5th.

Sheppard takes to the pitlane.

Where the AMR pit are servicing Warrington's car and Greenhalgh speeds past to regain the lead.

Warrington leaves the pits ahead of Shadow's Greidanus.

Maverick has had an even worse 3rd stop and now runs in 12th with Johnson and Worseling behind.

Worseling dives to the inside of Johnson.

But Johnson holds him off.

Greenhalgh continues to pull away in the lead.

Kittleson runs off into the kitty litter.

Minardi team mate Johnson falls victim at the same corner, hits the wall and retires.

Kittleson rejoins the track in 15th. Nothing seems to go Dean's way.

5 laps left to the chequered flag.

Greidanus is just not going to give up on 3rd place.

Karjalainen just outside the points.

Greidanus seems to have settled for 4th with just 2 laps to go.

Last lap.

And Greenhalgh wins Le Belgian Bun Grand Prix.

Jalving 2nd.

Warrington 3rd.

Congratulations to Ed Greenhalgh and Aston Martin Racing.

Stay tuned for the official results.

Oh come on...for next season I vote for the abolishment of pit stops! And for everybody who hasn't got it...I'm just kidding.

But seriously, from 8th to 13th at first stop, then back to 8th at second stop and up to 12th again at the third stop. I mean, seriously? Apart from that it wouldn't have hurt Charrel to let me pass on his out-lap while he was still struggling with cool tires and I was on my in-lap. But that can't be the only reason for this pit stop disaster. We really have to work on these pit stops!

So, 11th in the end...very bad and of course not satisfying. In addition to that, AMR have increased the gap to us again and I will fall back in the WDC even more. I guess there's nothing more to do than simply forget Spa for this season and concentrate on the next race to finally bring home my first win with MPR and get back into the fight.

A good finish for Jack in a difficult race. Michael was unlucky on the first lap.

Mixed feelings on this one, pace was there, then it wasn't.
nonetheless from 18th to 8th is okay.

GPGSL career;
Current team: Team ShadowSubaru, Previous teams: MPR, Minardi

Totally forgot to say: Great coverage Stu, as always. The race was very busy, especially during the pit stops, but I think you got most of it.

Good result for the team, but ! had higher hopes...

A small mistake in the pits and a lot faster teammate pushed me down to 6th.
I look at the gap between AMR and SGP before starting to laugh ;)

My GPGSL Career
Terrible race!! =/

One Racing driver and team manager
GPGSL-3: champion in 2007/2013/2014!
GPGSL-4: testdrivers champion in Season 11!
From heaven to hell, from 2nd to crashing, going through driving a car which mostly wanted to kill me. I'm wasting my luck in qualy :/

Stats: 139 Starts / 7 Wins / 9 Poles / 5 Fastest laps
It's a fantastic result for the team! AMR have once again proved to be the undisputed champions of the mighty track that is Spa; 1st in S5, 1-2 in S6 and 1-3 in S7.

Thanks for great coverage, as usual!

I am happy with this result.
Great chunk of points for the team with that 2nd place. A bit disappointed for John. Still plenty of races left and anything can happen.
