I am working this weekend unexpectedly, the race will be delayed a little bit - I try to get it online sunday evening or else I'm gonna do my best for monday!

Hi and welcome to the grand prix of Belgium! The 2005 race on the circuit of Spa Franchorchamps, as we've already seen the FP and race being in the wet, it doesn't look clear as well on race day!
We will see Massa leaving from pole position, he has topped the charts everytime so far this weekend, can he win? And next to him there is Sebastian Vettel! Ricardo Zonta leaves from a surprising second row

Vettel is leading, and Zonta has snatched second! What a good start!
Massa isn't just gonna sit by and hold back, here he comes!!
He cannot make enough speed, and slides back in line with the rest for the corner
Giancarlo Fisichella however pushes through at the cost of Timo Glock

End of the lap also Lotterer flew past the Toyota, and Raikkonen is next!

Da Matta uses the run-off and closes in behind DC in 12th
Raikkonen however spun, and now has to wait for a safe rejoining of the field

Vettel is having a hard time! Alonso on his tail now!
Doornbos locking up high speed!
He manages to slide over the extremely wet run-off zone and hit pit entry ... thats a three-wheeler for him and he's out!
Nico Rosberg a little wide! He keeps his position though
Alonso on the back of Vettel!!
He needs to back off though and has not the option to return to the line, Ralf has taken his spot !!!
And Ralf immediately attack Vettel at the bus-stop!!!
SUCCESS! What a MOVE from the German, 2 places at once from highly respected race cars, i.e. Macca and Ferrari!!!

He grabs P5, Vettel back from P1 to P6!

Ralf's Toyota is on FIRE!! And it's in a good way!!! He's looking at P2 from Massa

Rubens overtook Vettel!
Also Sato corrects his mistake and passes Vettel now
Double overtake attempt, usually these things don't go well ....
Not really bad, but Da Matta missed his braking point and Rosberg slides a little bit, drifting could just be as well!
Anyway, Kubica +1, Rosberg +2, Da Matta -2 and Glock -1, big winner is Rosberg!
Glock isn't ready for a loss yet and gives Da Matta -3 and equals out himself!
Zonta is in for a fight he doesn't want, Ralf is closing in! While Massa is trying to keep on their tails!
Then it's Raikkonen in the pits! And in contray to André, he goes to SLICKS!
BUTTON is in a SEA OF FIRE!! What or who is that?!
It's Mark Webbers Red Bull Racing!
Lotterer coming in fast, complete track is filled with fire
Oh NO! André crashes in Webber!
Wheels flying, to both go off track!
Lotterer slaps himself on the head, with three wheels this race isn't going to work ...
Webber get's pushed back so they can extingiush the fire quickly, race over for him though - turns out to be an oil leak
Sato goes past Barrichello once more, P6 for the BAR guy
He goes wide though mid bus-stop
And Barrichello smiles and drives by past! P6 again back for Rubens!
Vettel dropping rapidly, passed by Montagny and now DC
But he stays on the inside and fights his way back!
And Fisichella says THANK YOU!
Rosberg to take P12 from Kubica
Ralf is under the Arrows' rear wing!!
Looking at every possible point at the circuit!
Williams way behind, Schumacher catching up to his teammate
There goes the Toyota for the lead!!
Clean overtake, live and let live by Ralf and Zonta!
Rosberg in the pits, also going to regular slicks!
Ralf already pulled a gap, he also shows second sector is still pretty wet!
Giancarlo and David fighting
None of both is letting off
David has the better lines and takes the place!
Race leader in the pits for dry tyres and fuel!
Rejoins 11th, just in front of his teammate
Zonta shows some dry lins did appear and still fending off Massa good!
Kubica, dry tyres seem to be the obvious choice for everyone!
Also Minardi takes that gamble!

NO NO NO!! Arrows off track! Race leader Zonta is outside the white lines!
Into the gravel ...
Massa has no time to laugh as he suffers the same!! Must be some aquaplanning there!
Also deep in the gravel!!
Davidson must be the luckiest guy on track at the moment! Chance on P1!!
And he GRABS it! MINARDI ON P1!!! Zonta and Massa recover both swiftly and only lost 2-4 seconds each, closing in 2nd and 3rd behind the Minardi
Fernando is too late to profit from the mistakes, in 4th close behind!
SAME CORNER! Another car! Sato leaves the tarmac!
Just the same, way in the gravel
Loses a place to Rubens (AGAIN!! Yes, again!)
Not BAR's lap!! Same spot as Zonta, Massa and Sato. Giancarlo loses it!
And number 5, Glock slides outside the lines just a little less!
Drives on track just in front of Ralf! Not losing a spot
And goes defensive on Ralf!
Ralf couldn't get passed, yet
Zonta comes to the conclusion his tyres might be worn, and even with the rain having intensified in Sector 2, he goes for Slicks!
Davidson also got into the pit
And did Massa!

Rubens for Renault, getting some fresh rubber
Glock comes in where Zonta already left!
Da Matta then too
As does Schumi
This all gives Fernando Alonso the lead in the Ferrari, still on wets
Zonta has managed to jump Ralf in the stops!! Not far apart though .. Massa way in the back, he did jump Davidson though for 3rd
Alonso knows he can't stay out anymore, and also comes for his slicks
Same for good old DC
Fisichella completes the first stops for BAR
Ralf he closed in to Zonta and goes for P4!
Takes it quite easily, that Toyota works like a charm!
After he passed the pits complex that P4 means suddenly P1 again! Zonta in P2 and Massa P3
Minardi did a magnificent job, now P4 and P5!
Alonso comes back just in front of both Renaults, P6 for the Ferrari driver
And of the lap however, Barrichello decides that rear wing isn't what he thought his view would be and expands his horizon!
Looking at the horizon however, makes him miss the corner and he 's on the run-off now!
He tries to cut in front of Alonso!! Can Alonso keep from colliding?
Rubens overshoots twice!!!
That does give Fernano back the position, which he rightfully should have since Barrichello cut the track anyway!
David Coulthard takes advantage from his teammate's fail and goes for it, P7
Button on the attack
He takes P12 from Nico Rosberg quite simply
Everyone seems to have stopped, and it's drying up again in Belgium - time for standings!

Schumacher stays on the attack after his lack of luck, grabs P16
Vettel started out great, but is slipping away ..

Rejoins 19th, that cost him quite something there!
Alonso keeps pressure from the Renaults behind
Ralf seems not to be going to be caught here today
DC wants P6 from Alonso

Button to move up at the cost of Kubica
They both let it stand! Button will win in the end though, next corner he had the inside
Zonta never loses sight of victory place!
Barrichello goes in too bold!
Alonso get's pushed aside
Barrichello drives away and Alonso comes in trouble due to lack of speed! He holds his place though
Davidson slipping up in 4th place Eau Rouge!
Franck sees his chance with his teammate!
At the end of the straight the places have switched then
Alonso loses his stand towards Sato, Sato now holds a point in hand!
Rosberg will overtake Kubica to gain a place
Raikkonen first in again, Jordan is on a light strategy today
Rosberg coming up to Eau Rouge sees someone drive OFF TRACK!
It's Da Matta!
He can't return, Da Matta is out on a transmission failure ..
Coulthard has caught up to Davidson's Minardi and goes for P5
He now holds it!
Schumi from far for P13!
SUCCESS!!
Ralf still leads, but Zonta is really not far behind! S2 is a lot dryer now though!
Button takes P9 off Alonso, just one place more and he might end up in the point places!
While one Toyota is out, the other one flies today!
Button goes for glory after qualifying, he takes on Sato and wins P8

That's 4 drivers out today, considering the conditions this is still a mild result!
Barrichello sees an oppurtunity
And grabs it with two hands, P6 for Rubens, Davidson dropped back to 7th
Schumi keeps moving up, P12 now, closer and closer to the points!

Montagny had gotten towards Massa's tail!

Massa must be stumbled and sees Franck driving by, Minardi to 3, Ferrari back to 4th
Davidson however isn't that lukcy, and now gets Button on his tail!

Barrichello messes up! Off track excursion for him!
He has spun, he just keeps it running
He pays a high price, P16 now
Zonta out the pits in P4, manages to stay in front of DC, HOWEVER SURPRISE! He has gotten INTERS from his team!!
Every lap Ralf sees his teammate's car again, reminding him that he is the one today that needs to do it for Toyota!
Button in the pit also goes for Inters
As does Vettel
Race leader Ralf Schumacher goes for the same
Once AGAIN Zonta has jumped Ralf by the stops! Great strategy from Arrows today!
Montagny immediately changes as well

And for the second time Ferrari gets their position back from Minardi in the pits!
Massa in 3rd, DC in 4th and Montagny to P5
Everyone comes in for last fuel and intermediate tyres, the rain in sector 2 is so severe slicks aren´t safe anymore!
Villeneuve quickly caught up by Sato all of the sudden ..
And Sato pulls away like a thief from a baby!
Button is already next to the Williams ... JV is in trouble!
Nico Rosberg quitely moved up to P9 now!
JV reaches the pits, it seems he had a problem with his brakes getting to warm - therefor he needed to drive slower!
Smartly directly makes his pitstop for inters and fuel till the end!
Zonta still leading with a good gap over Ralf
David looks solid in 4th, and Minardi still goes great!
Rosberg P8, Alonso P9, Schumi P10 - not what all three men would have expected today
Davidson dropped back a lot after pitstops, on the attack now and takes P11
With 11 to go, and all pitstops completed we go for standings once more
2nd page, places 9 to 16
Everyone still in the same lap!
Glock goes for P12 from Kubica
He looks to be on the wrong side ...
But Kubica goes into error!
And Glock kindly thanks him!
Zonta's lead has gone like snow on a mid-summer day!
Before the end of the lap ralf goes into attack for the 3rd time on Zonta, again the bus-stop
Ralf takes the lead over once more
Schumi goes for Alonso's P9!
Very good overtake, just one more and Schumi still scores a point!
Alonso isn't going to let him get away! The Spaniard takes his maybe one and only chance!
But fails .. can he still catch up?
Yes he can!
And he is back in P9! Schumi back towards P10!
Also Schumi doesn't let this one go, attacking once more!
This time he gives Alonso not another chance, Schumi in P9 now for sure!
Raikkonen off track!
He has parked it .. his throttle brok down, the leaders are now just passing the scene
Rosberg is not pleased with P8, he goes for 7th from Button!!
Not a problem for the Macca, he has a good speed today!

Ralf has extended his lead quite far, P1 seems simple like this. Zonta however still has sight and his mirrors are empty (Massa hasn't been able to keep up!!!)

Ralf has no worries, he takes entry of the last lap!

AND RALF SCHUMACHER WINS THE BELGIAN GRAND PRIX FOR TOYOTA!!!!
Amazing race by Arrows puts Zonta in a neat 2nd place!
Massa does great and completes the podium in 3rd
Minardi missed their 3rd podium in row, but 4th will be something they can cheer about!
Sato does a solid race for BAR even after some driving errors!
Nico Rosberg, almost invisible today but he showed the power of McLaren! From almost the back to P6!!
Button does where Doornbos failed hard today, 2 points for the Sauber team!
Alonso takes one last point today

He missed the second corner though and Vettel and Barrichello took back what was theirs first!
Lotterer is the first to come in, and he switches from Full Wets to Intermediate! Is it time now?
Ralf's Toyota is on FIRE!! And it's in a good way!!! He's looking at P2 from Massa
And at the end of the lap he is actually going for it
Another swell overtake, P2 for Ralf!
Rubens overtook Vettel!
Also Sato corrects his mistake and passes Vettel now
Double overtake attempt, usually these things don't go well ....
Not really bad, but Da Matta missed his braking point and Rosberg slides a little bit, drifting could just be as well!
Anyway, Kubica +1, Rosberg +2, Da Matta -2 and Glock -1, big winner is Rosberg!
Glock isn't ready for a loss yet and gives Da Matta -3 and equals out himself!
Zonta is in for a fight he doesn't want, Ralf is closing in! While Massa is trying to keep on their tails!
Then it's Raikkonen in the pits! And in contray to André, he goes to SLICKS!
BUTTON is in a SEA OF FIRE!! What or who is that?!
It's Mark Webbers Red Bull Racing!
Lotterer coming in fast, complete track is filled with fire

Webber get's pushed back so they can extingiush the fire quickly, race over for him though - turns out to be an oil leak
Sato goes past Barrichello once more, P6 for the BAR guy

And Barrichello smiles and drives by past! P6 again back for Rubens!
Vettel dropping rapidly, passed by Montagny and now DC
But he stays on the inside and fights his way back!
And Fisichella says THANK YOU!
Rosberg to take P12 from Kubica
Ralf is under the Arrows' rear wing!!
Looking at every possible point at the circuit!
Williams way behind, Schumacher catching up to his teammate
There goes the Toyota for the lead!!
Clean overtake, live and let live by Ralf and Zonta!

Ralf already pulled a gap, he also shows second sector is still pretty wet!

Zonta shows some dry lins did appear and still fending off Massa good!

NO NO NO!! Arrows off track! Race leader Zonta is outside the white lines!
Into the gravel ...
Massa has no time to laugh as he suffers the same!! Must be some aquaplanning there!
Also deep in the gravel!!
Davidson must be the luckiest guy on track at the moment! Chance on P1!!
And he GRABS it! MINARDI ON P1!!! Zonta and Massa recover both swiftly and only lost 2-4 seconds each, closing in 2nd and 3rd behind the Minardi
Fernando is too late to profit from the mistakes, in 4th close behind!
SAME CORNER! Another car! Sato leaves the tarmac!
Just the same, way in the gravel
Loses a place to Rubens (AGAIN!! Yes, again!)
Not BAR's lap!! Same spot as Zonta, Massa and Sato. Giancarlo loses it!
And number 5, Glock slides outside the lines just a little less!
Drives on track just in front of Ralf! Not losing a spot
And goes defensive on Ralf!
Ralf couldn't get passed, yet
Zonta comes to the conclusion his tyres might be worn, and even with the rain having intensified in Sector 2, he goes for Slicks!
Davidson also got into the pit
And did Massa!

Rubens for Renault, getting some fresh rubber
Glock comes in where Zonta already left!
Da Matta then too
As does Schumi
This all gives Fernando Alonso the lead in the Ferrari, still on wets
Zonta has managed to jump Ralf in the stops!! Not far apart though .. Massa way in the back, he did jump Davidson though for 3rd
Alonso knows he can't stay out anymore, and also comes for his slicks
Same for good old DC
Fisichella completes the first stops for BAR
Ralf he closed in to Zonta and goes for P4!
Takes it quite easily, that Toyota works like a charm!
After he passed the pits complex that P4 means suddenly P1 again! Zonta in P2 and Massa P3
Minardi did a magnificent job, now P4 and P5!
Alonso comes back just in front of both Renaults, P6 for the Ferrari driver
And of the lap however, Barrichello decides that rear wing isn't what he thought his view would be and expands his horizon!
Looking at the horizon however, makes him miss the corner and he 's on the run-off now!
He tries to cut in front of Alonso!! Can Alonso keep from colliding?
Rubens overshoots twice!!!
That does give Fernano back the position, which he rightfully should have since Barrichello cut the track anyway!
David Coulthard takes advantage from his teammate's fail and goes for it, P7
Button on the attack
He takes P12 from Nico Rosberg quite simply
Everyone seems to have stopped, and it's drying up again in Belgium - time for standings!

Schumacher stays on the attack after his lack of luck, grabs P16
Vettel started out great, but is slipping away ..

They both let it stand! Button will win in the end though, next corner he had the inside

Barrichello drives away and Alonso comes in trouble due to lack of speed! He holds his place though
Davidson slipping up in 4th place Eau Rouge!

At the end of the straight the places have switched then
Alonso loses his stand towards Sato, Sato now holds a point in hand!
Rosberg will overtake Kubica to gain a place
Raikkonen first in again, Jordan is on a light strategy today
Rosberg coming up to Eau Rouge sees someone drive OFF TRACK!
It's Da Matta!
He can't return, Da Matta is out on a transmission failure ..
Coulthard has caught up to Davidson's Minardi and goes for P5
He now holds it!

Ralf still leads, but Zonta is really not far behind! S2 is a lot dryer now though!
Button takes P9 off Alonso, just one place more and he might end up in the point places!
While one Toyota is out, the other one flies today!
Button goes for glory after qualifying, he takes on Sato and wins P8
Just 16 laps left, another standings time

That's 4 drivers out today, considering the conditions this is still a mild result!
Barrichello sees an oppurtunity
And grabs it with two hands, P6 for Rubens, Davidson dropped back to 7th
Schumi keeps moving up, P12 now, closer and closer to the points!
It's damping again sector 2!!
Montagny had gotten towards Massa's tail!
He leaves it be! Minardi on the inside!
Massa must be stumbled and sees Franck driving by, Minardi to 3, Ferrari back to 4th
Davidson however isn't that lukcy, and now gets Button on his tail!
Zonta for a pitstop!
Barrichello messes up! Off track excursion for him!

Zonta out the pits in P4, manages to stay in front of DC, HOWEVER SURPRISE! He has gotten INTERS from his team!!
Every lap Ralf sees his teammate's car again, reminding him that he is the one today that needs to do it for Toyota!
Button in the pit also goes for Inters
As does Vettel
Race leader Ralf Schumacher goes for the same
Once AGAIN Zonta has jumped Ralf by the stops! Great strategy from Arrows today!
Montagny immediately changes as well
DC in
And for the second time Ferrari gets their position back from Minardi in the pits!
Massa in 3rd, DC in 4th and Montagny to P5
Everyone comes in for last fuel and intermediate tyres, the rain in sector 2 is so severe slicks aren´t safe anymore!
Villeneuve quickly caught up by Sato all of the sudden ..
And Sato pulls away like a thief from a baby!
Button is already next to the Williams ... JV is in trouble!
Nico Rosberg quitely moved up to P9 now!
JV reaches the pits, it seems he had a problem with his brakes getting to warm - therefor he needed to drive slower!
Smartly directly makes his pitstop for inters and fuel till the end!
Zonta still leading with a good gap over Ralf
David looks solid in 4th, and Minardi still goes great!
Rosberg P8, Alonso P9, Schumi P10 - not what all three men would have expected today
Davidson dropped back a lot after pitstops, on the attack now and takes P11
With 11 to go, and all pitstops completed we go for standings once more
2nd page, places 9 to 16
Everyone still in the same lap!
Glock goes for P12 from Kubica
He looks to be on the wrong side ...
But Kubica goes into error!
And Glock kindly thanks him!
Zonta's lead has gone like snow on a mid-summer day!
Before the end of the lap ralf goes into attack for the 3rd time on Zonta, again the bus-stop
Ralf takes the lead over once more
Schumi goes for Alonso's P9!
Very good overtake, just one more and Schumi still scores a point!
Alonso isn't going to let him get away! The Spaniard takes his maybe one and only chance!
But fails .. can he still catch up?
Yes he can!
And he is back in P9! Schumi back towards P10!
Also Schumi doesn't let this one go, attacking once more!
This time he gives Alonso not another chance, Schumi in P9 now for sure!
Raikkonen off track!
He has parked it .. his throttle brok down, the leaders are now just passing the scene
Rosberg is not pleased with P8, he goes for 7th from Button!!
Not a problem for the Macca, he has a good speed today!
Kubcia going wide under Fisichella's pressure
Off the tracks, over the kerbs ..

Ralf has extended his lead quite far, P1 seems simple like this. Zonta however still has sight and his mirrors are empty (Massa hasn't been able to keep up!!!)

And acclerates too quickly! Alonso's passes while Schumi spins ...
He still tries to defend from Davidson ...
But with no luck at all ..
40 down, 4 left! Ralf still going strong!

It has costs him two spots on track ....
And one more to Fisichella!
But at the end of the lap he has that last one back!!
3 left, can anything go wrong?
Montagny is on the rear of DC!
And passes him .. quite easily!
And pulls away
Coulthard going by the side of the track ...
It does not look good! Sato however sees a chance to take P5!
DC makes it easy and pulls safely off track
His engine has left him
Smoke coming from the rear and marshalls running to secure the track!
The sign said 'Alonso our fingers', but Alonso is smiling as he takes P8, and one point!
Ralf has no worries, he takes entry of the last lap!

AND RALF SCHUMACHER WINS THE BELGIAN GRAND PRIX FOR TOYOTA!!!!
Amazing race by Arrows puts Zonta in a neat 2nd place!
Massa does great and completes the podium in 3rd
Minardi missed their 3rd podium in row, but 4th will be something they can cheer about!
Sato does a solid race for BAR even after some driving errors!
Nico Rosberg, almost invisible today but he showed the power of McLaren! From almost the back to P6!!
Button does where Doornbos failed hard today, 2 points for the Sauber team!
Alonso takes one last point today

Great job from Ralf to secure our 3rd win in our history!A fantastic,commited drive in treacherous conditions..Awesome job!that win may have secured him a new deal for 2006,we knew he had it in him...As for cristiano,disapointed he had a failure but i think that was only our 3rd retirement of the year so can't complain too much..Its a pity we have to sit out the test as we have no money,but hopefully still be there or thereabouts at brazil
